My son and I had the pleasure of staying in Judy and Tony’s beautiful, warm, and luxurious villa for 10 nights, and we felt relaxed and well taken care of throughout our stay. The house itself is stunning – spacious, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you might need. A majestic 400-year-old tree stands proudly in the front yard, adding to the charm of the place. What made our stay especially memorable, though, was Judy and Tony themselves. They are kind, gracious, and genuinely refined individuals, with an effortless elegance and warmth that made us feel completely welcome while also respecting our privacy. On Sunday, they even took us to a nearby market, which turned out to be a delightful local experience. We’re deeply grateful for the chance to meet such wonderful people. Getting to know them added something truly beautiful not just to our stay in New Zealand, but to our view of the world. We still miss the time we spent there.

We loved staying at this house! Sarah and Ryan are both very responsive and friendly. Check in was a breeze and the house was sparkling clean. We loved cooking in the kitchen and unwinding with a bottle of wine in the backyard. Very walkable- 2 mins on foot to the nearest cafe. Very close to fabulous bars and restaurants, too. My husband, toddler and I loved the whole experience and will stay again!

Amazing place to stay, made out short stay feel at home

The Perfect City Escape! This place is absolutely magical. Although it's conveniently close to the city, it feels like you're tucked away in a peaceful rural retreat. The view from the deck is incredible – surrounded by lush greenery and native bush, with curious Pukeko birds wandering around outside. The outdoor tub overlooking the trees is a highlight – soaking there while listening to the sounds of nature was pure bliss. Inside, the private sauna was an unexpected luxury and made the stay even more special. If you're looking for a place to truly unwind and escape the hustle of daily life, this is it. Quiet, serene, and beautifully set up for relaxation.

We absolutely loved this place as well as the location having a new world so close. It was lovely and clean especially having our 1 year old son with us. Definitely worth every penny

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

Fantastic stay in Matarangi! Beautiful house with beautiful finishings. Very well equipped and had everything you could need. We loved the little touches of luxury everywhere. Super easy walk to the beach, we loved using the big beach trolley to get to and from with all the gear. Amazing location! We travelled over from Switzerland and loved everything Matarangi had to offer. A slice of paradise! Thank you for sending the belongings left behind! We hope to be back in the future! Thank you!

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

wonderful location on the hilltop, beautiful view a bit tricky to find, but follow the map and be ready for a hike, but it's worth it.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

Absolutely loved the space and it’s close to everything. Rachel was responsive and always replied when I had questions. We loved the pool, loved the rooms and spacious lounge & backyard. Wonderful host and would recommend this space to all. Thank you Rachel 🙏🏾

What an amazing and Beautiful home, so many things to do, from pool table, pinball machine , big movie projector where it was so relaxing with the kids to snuggle in front of fire place. Daisy is of the best Host I have come across, so responsive to all messages, also she is very accommodating to requests we asked of her. Definitely recommend Daisy beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a place with all ammenities, feel real homely inside & even outdoors with pool & spa , trampoline for children & swing, big lawn outside where kids or family groups can run freely. Abi's home is a period style gem in a great neighbourhood. It is a particularly stylish house that also manages to hit that sweet spot of a very being comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the living space is great, especially with the doors rolled back to make use of the outdoor deck. Being summertime in NZ, we took full advantage of the swimming pool, spending hours at a time chilling out there. The neighbourhood is perfectly located, with a supermarket and very appealing cafes and parks just a block away. Even better, it is only a 10 minute walk to the high street in Ponsonby where everything you could want is located in terms of shops, bars & restaurants. The kitchen is great and really well set up with everything you would need to cook a big family dinner which is exactly what we enjoyed. Abi was very gracious in all of her communications with us, being very flexible to our travel arrangements. This is the perfect stay in Auckland, with everything you need to either stay in and enjoy the space or get out and stuck into the cafe culture of Auckland.

Beautiful home & perfect to get ready for my wedding day. Bins were full on arrival, but we left our rubbish outside next to bins which was fine :) would come back again.

The property is beautifully presented, in a very quiet and picture perfect location. We had a wonderful time, and surprised ourselves with the good rest we all had. The living space and outdoor area are massive, and it is a very perfect location for a weekend away.

The place was clean and spacious. The outside pool was lovely for those who were willing to brave it at this time of year. The spa and sauna were nice and relaxing. Overall it was a great weekend away, thanks a lot!
