“Amazing location, great hosts and delicious food. That's what you can expect from this stay. The couple managing the house would beat a 5 star hospitality. The aunty made us a delicious multi course Coorgy dinner. Their pet Labrador Buffy was a joy to play with. Coming to the best part - A very personal coffee and plantation tour of their owned estate. “There are little things that makes an experience memorable. This was a stay full of such little things. From the welcome note above the fridge, to the sticky notes throughout the house, to the wonderful trek with Vijayan uncle, everything had a personal touch & made us feel at home. Waking up everyday to little birds chirping just outside our window was very pleasant. Thank you Mr. Rajesh for opening your home to people like us who are looking for a relaxing stay amidst nature. Also, a big thanks to Vijayan Uncle (estate manager) for making sure that our stay was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place (especially for families). To everyone out there: This place & the entire estate has been maintained very well. It is our responsibility to keep it that way too :)”

“This is homestay that deserves beyond 5 stars in every aspect. We got a chance to meet three lovely people - Mr Dinesh, Mrs Asha Dinesh and Dinesh's mother. All three make you feel at home and you can always look up to them for any help you need during your stay. We stayed as a family there with our 2 year old kid for 4 days. Here are few things that we loved during our stay. Room - The room we stayed was sparkling clean. The beds are big and comfortable and the room was big and airy. It's a cosy place to stay among the chilled mountains. They provide blankets, towels, mosquito repellents, bath soap, hot water and anything you need apart from this. Room is provided with backup generator in case there is a power failure. Our son was too happy to stay there, he had lot of place go around and play. Location - This is a plus point to this homestay. All the amazing places are 30 mins to an hour away. Infact, you can go visit a place after the breakfast, come back and have lunch and again drive to some other place. This homestay is situated exactly in centre to many beautiful places and is connected via motorable roads to below places, you can drive your car to below places. Pushpagiri hills (& Mallikarjuna temple) is around 17 kms (40 mins), Mallalli falls is around 12 kms (30 mins), Bisle view point (30 mins), Manjarabad fort 40 kms (1 hr), Madikeri 40 kms (1 hr), Somwarpet 15 kms (30 mins), Abbimatta falls 10 kms (20 mins), Kukke temple 40 kms (1 hr) and much more. Dinesh can guide you to more places depending on your energy and interest. Based on the group numbers, he can also organize a small trek (3 hours overall) to a mountain that's just beside the homestay, you need to inform in advance if interested. Also, a jungle tour depending upon minimum number of members. Food - Hands down on this, Mrs Asha is an amazing cook. I have been to lot of homestays on Airbnb but this homestay makes me go back there for food :) Our favorite was Akki roti (Rice bread) and Yellikai chitranna (Citron Lime rice). All the vegetables they use are grown in their backyard, freshly plucked, grated and cooked. Those dishes are something super tasty with lots of love added. Food cost is very nominal, trust me you won't mind about the money after having those variety of dishes. Do not forget to have a coffee there, its from their own coffee plantation - brewed and served. Parking - There is lot of place to park your vehicle in their compound, so no worries about that. -- Mrs Asha has given a colorful touch to the premise with lot of flower and fruit plants. You will be amazed to see so many different kind of flowers grown and organized in a well thought manner. Ask her for some tips on growing flower plants, she will be happy to help you. Overall, our experience was super amazing and they just delighted our vacation, I couldn't have asked for more. They have a dog (lab) named Dhruva which is very friendly and it just refreshes you if you are a dog lover. I would be happy to recommend anyone to go stay there, it will be your extended home, I promise!”
