The Boutique Design Farm ANNA'S BARN

The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

Numerous hiking trails, nice little paths for a short walk, mountain bike trails and Nordic walking trails all start in our neighborhood. Shopping, supermarkets and a bus stop are just minutes away by foot.

Our apartment "Mühlenlounge" deserves its name. We live in an old oil mill, a short walk from the attractive city center of Haslach, where the preserved half-timbered framework is impressive. The Mühlenlounge has a loft character and many originals from the time of the oil mill have been preserved. Nevertheless, the state of the art in this apartment is modern, such as TV, kitchen equipment, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, etc.
