Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. The place was so peaceful! Jessica was the best host. Our 3 year old locked us out within the first 30 minutes and she responded quickly and gave us a quick resolution. The camper was spotless when we arrived! We will definitely stay on our next trip!

I didn’t meet this host but I didn’t need to. Her precious personality shines through in every way the minute you come through her gate. She has created the MOST relaxing vibe imaginable. In full disclosure I too host a very personal airbnb space. Mine is practical, conservative, and gracious. Brenda’s Limestone County Getaway is better than a trip to the Yucatán! And…no expensive airfare or passport necessary. If you need it she’s already thought of it. If you want an escape, she’s built it. If you are considering booking…don’t hesitate!!! Westfarthing couldn’t be farther away from the realities of life and just a few minutes off I65!

Great place to sneak away for the week. The house was impeccable and very up to date. We brought our two dogs but this place is also great for children. The kayaks and Lilly pad were easily accessible and fun activities for the dock. If you do some diving under the bridge closer to the shore you might find my husband’s Raybans, enjoy!

I didn't need to communicate with Nick for any reason, but the check in and check out instructions were easy. We had no issues while there and would definitely stay there again.
