Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Hart County

The place was beautiful. I hadn’t had a vacation in over two years with work. I was surprised of the ceiling height and the open layout pulling in you wouldn’t expect it. I’ll definitely try to rent this cabin again. Thank you I tried to leave it as I found it!

A lovely, pet-free place for our family of four to stay. The space was clean and comfortable. Although the ferry was down during our visit, it was still only about a 50-minute drive each way to Mammoth Cave. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay! Loved that it was off the beaten path, yet close to everything we had planned to do! Communication was top notch and spotless clean! Would definitely stay here again.

My family & I loved the stay! Andrea was beyond helpful and very quick with responding to any questions. And omg!! The scenery was breathtaking, the kids had a great time playing in the huge yard. We were able to fish, which was a great decompression after a long work week. If you’re looking for a peaceful scenic environment, this is for you! My family & I had no complaints. It was everything the pictures showed and more.

We are in love with Laken' it Easy! This house is spacious, comfortable, and simply a great place for a family. The great room, with a surround couch, is an excellent place for playing Nintendo, watching the Indiana Fever play, and endless rounds of Herd Mentality! The table is great for meals, as well as jigsaw puzzles and Yahtzee! The yard space is great for the kids to enjoy, and although it was too hot for a fire pit, we love the thought of a big fire being so open and free from trees and structure. We walked the neighborhood each morning, and the neighbors all waved and spoke kind words as we passed by (so refreshing)! We had planned a week away with lake activities, but the weatherman had other plans. However, we still had a great time! The host is genuine, responsive, and accommodating. Five Stars for this home!

We absolutely loved Kelly’s place. The location is perfect if you are visiting Mammoth cave. We loved the property, much room for our Grandson to play and fish in the pond. The House had everything we needed from kitchen to bathroom! Absolutely fabulous! If we visit area again we’ll definitely look to stay here.

It was such an easy check in, Sam was very responsive whenever we needed something or had questions. Everything was accessible and clean. Overall very good!

His instructions for getting in were perfect to a tee. He was helpful to any questions we asked. We had a little car trouble at checkout time. He was quick with offerings to help. Was very accommodating as we needed to leave the vehicle to get a new battery. And stayed on top of making sure we didn't need any more help with our situation.

Do not miss this gem of a stay! The owner gives lots of information about the area and attractions and my favorite part was the history they shared about the place we stayed. Loved it

If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

Kyla is an absolute joy to work with. our stay was amazing! she was very responsive and always answered any questions I had right away. the few downsides I had were considered and being taken into consideration. if your looking for an extremely clean place to stay very close to Mammoth caves with Kentucky down under right across the road this is your rental!!! Many amenities super close by. So happy with our stay!

Excellent remodel and set up perfect to have everything you would need to make you feel at home

Absolutely beautiful stay. Came out for a weekend trip with 3 friends and the two full bathrooms along with 3 beds(and couch) were everything that we needed. Plenty of space and such a unique home!! A peaceful stay around 45 minutes away from mammoth cave. A gas station and dollar general around the corner about a 2 minute walk away provided for all of our immediate needs. Was weary of the few reviews but couldn’t have been happier. 10/10 couldn’t recommend this any more.

The Gnome Home was such an amazing place! We enjoyed the week spent here. Heather was an amazing host. We had all the amenities we needed, including more towels than we've ever had at an Airbnb (it was amazing). We loved chilling by the fire pit at night, and watching wildlife during the day (deer, turkey, owls). We can't wait to come back and visit again!

we really enjoyed our stay, it was absolutely beautiful. we loved the kayaking. I do wish the rd to the Airbnb had more gravel on it, it rained alot during our stay an it was a lil tricky getting up an down the muddy rd. we will definitely be back in the fall

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Allison's cabin. The location is so quiet, and the accommodations are very spacious. We enjoyed the sitting room upstairs and the absolutely fantastic shower upstairs! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to cook meals, and there were plenty of bath linens as well. We appreciated having a washer and dryer onsite. Allison was great in her communications with us and was willing to accommodate some last-minute changes for our family. The location was central to all we wanted to do in Kentucky while we visited. The house was spotless and very well-organized with nice decorative touches as well. Thanks, Allison, for a great stay!

Our stay started on a disappointing note, and I have to admit I was a bit worried about how the rest of the trip would go. But I have to give full credit to the host for how they handled the situation. As soon as I reached out, they were incredibly responsive and quick to address the issues. Their professionalism and willingness to make things right really turned everything around. By the end of our stay, the experience had completely shifted. The host’s attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued, and one moment, in particular, stood out. My daughter lost her favorite plush toy, and the host went above and beyond to help us recover it. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us and truly made the stay memorable. Overall, while the beginning wasn’t ideal, the host’s care and effort made all the difference. The house was perfect for our weekend away! Plenty of space both inside and outside. We went to Mammoth Cave and Louisville from here, and it was a relaxing home base.

Well, the first thing that really stood out for me was that the coffee maker worked. Lol. Coffee sets the day for me. But seriously. This place was exactly as described. Everything listed was exactly the way it was. It was restful, peaceful, and again, exactly as advertised. The whole family was satisfied with the experience. Made for a great 3-day getaway for the whole family.
