Cozy Cottage on the Pond

The cabin was exactly as listed and all pictures were accurate. The cabin was very clean! Location was perfect for what we were looking for, on the pond - great for kayaking, along side the NL Trailway - great for quading, private and quite area. An added feature that we absolutely loved was the covered deck, enjoyed most of our meals there, complete with a BBQ. Everything you need is there, lots of dishes (not your typical 4 place setting). We forgot a deck of cards, found some, lots of towels & facecloths and the bed was very comfortable. Another bonus was the mini split, great on the hot days! We recommend this cozy cabin and plan on booking again for a winter trip. Thanks Helen & Gord

With very short notice, (30 minutes) of needing a place for the night, Cheri replied quickly and the room was available when I arrived. Clean quiet secure room, with a comfy bed and clean washroom. Which was al I needed for the night. I’ve been to the area before, so I knew I did not have to worry about the location. Thank you!

I really cannot imagine a better place to go than Tracey's and Dan's cabin in Westport, Newfoundland. Tracey and Dan are fantastic hosts, the cabin is impeccable, and Westport is a magical place filled with wonderful, friendly people.

If we could give Debbie and her place more than 5 stars, we would! This has to be one of the most peaceful and comfortable places we have ever stayed in with Airbnb - it was perfect! Debbie greeted us when we arrived, and we immediately felt right at home. We want to come back for a longer stay - one night just isn’t enough! We would highly recommend Samson’s Retreat. We really enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s home. It was very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had dishes and appliances as needed, all clean and easy to use. The bed was very comfortable with very nice linens. We also very much appreciated the washer and dryer. So much nicer than searching for a laundromat! We highly recommend staying here with wonderful views of the bay and friendly people.

Lucky Bay Hideaway – Seaview Sauna & Cedar Hot Tub

A great stay! Easy walking, hiking, and scenic drives nearby. Supermarkets and coffee shops in Lewisporte less than 20 minutes drive away. We were lucky enough to see icebergs enroute to Twillingate which is less than an hour's drive! ~ The house is just like the pictures: Airy, open, lots of space for such a small place, and spotlessly clean. Kitchen is well stocked, towels thick and fluffy, beds super comfortable, a sheltered deck, and seating available right next to waters edge too! One thing of note: If you're driving electric, let Tracy know in advance as the charger was not powered upon our arrival. (Her number is in your Airbnb messages welcome info.) Apart from that hiccup, our stay was excellent! It's fantastic to know there's a lovely spot in this pretty area, which offers an EV charger too! It's my second stay and I knew Tracy was just a phone call away so all good! ~~ Looking forward to returning when there's a hot-tub and sauna too! Highly recommend!
