“This accommodation is in the 'off the beaten track', slightly rural Haria, which has a great local market and some nice places to eat. It's near to Arrieta which has a nice beach and seafood restaurants. Beautiful views on the road up too! The place itself is very spacious and great for relaxing by the pool. It was amazing for us to have our own space and own pool and have somewhere we can go back to that is free of other guests. Outdoor hot shower and kitchen were a huge novelty and go well with the hot weather! Carlos is very friendly and we would say he is a great host and was very accommodating to all of our requests. We would thoroughly recommend this property :)”
Casita Susi is unique in its design, great Cesar Manrique pool, shared with Casita Carmelo. It is very cosy with excellently comfortable bed, nice kitchen, fab b/room, relaxing and set in the rural area of Haria, 3 mins walk to shops, bars & restaurants. The owners live on site so, should there be any probs, they will be solved as quick as a flash with a big fat smile :)
“There truly is nothing not to like about Casita Susy. Brace yourself for superlatives. Right from booking online, Brendan’s communications were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful - he even organised a local care hire firm to deliver a car to us at the airport! After a few days in the south of Lanzarote we arrived in Haría to be greeted in the garden like old friends by Brendan and Terrie and their son Theo. The apartment, villa, casita is just exquisite inside and out - nestling amongst majestic palms and a picture postcard pool, delightfully designed and decorated throughout with absolutely every conceivable need catered for. Haría itself is a gorgeous rural town and it’s brilliantly located for visiting the many superb ‘attractions’ on this island full of surprises - everywhere is 20-30 minutes by car (totally necessary in our opinion). Both Brendan and Terrie have a wealth of information, advice, tips and local know-how which they’re happy to share generously should you ask. Such delightful hosts - caring and attentive yet discrete and always mindful of our privacy. If you’re wondering whether you’d like it, don’t, you will, it’d be impossible not to. Thank you Terrie and Brendan for helping to make our holiday in Lanzarote so special and memorable. And best of luck for your imminent hosting ahead - we hope the wedding goes wonderfully well. All the very best, George & Kay.”
I offer a bedroom in a historical Canarian house in the village of Haría, known for its 1000 palmtrees, in the north of Lanzarote. As a tourist guide of Lanzarote I can offer you plenty of information about the island.
“I stayed with Ines for 5 nights. The bedroom plus ensuite has a private entrance. I had breakfast every morning with Ines in her kitchen in her traditional village home. She is a tour guide and speaks very good English but allowed me to practise my Spanish. She recommended restaurants in Haria where I could eat. I didn't have a car but the bus from Arrecife stopped opposite. There are lots of interesting walks in the area. It is very quiet and I would definitely stay there again.”
