4-story house| Central Old Quarter| Balcony

Clean apartment and easy to find. it was good for 2 family 6 person. Within the city area and most sites are at walkable distance. we easily walked to the Train street, lake area, walking street etc. A worship area just opposit the apartment. The location was okey for many tour operators free pick up. Many local restaurant and fruit vendors nearby. Good area to try street food. since it's inside the narrow street, parking should be in the main road side. The apartment is a typical Vietnamease home like. Rooms in multiple floors and limited kitchen. Stair (steps) to reach upper floors should be considered if there are old aged guests, but for our family it wasn't a problem. I saw local walking tours with tourist groups in the apartment street. The host responded quick and was supportive during our stay. I recommend this property if you want to stay in a traditional home within city area.

Old Quarter Hideout Duplex – Steps from Lake

I recently visited this place and was a bit surprised by the experience. The entrance is quite small, so I wasn't sure what to expect as I walked in. Once I was inside, though, it opened up more than I thought it would. The vibe was nice, and I enjoyed my time there. However, the door definitely needs some fixing—it didn't seem to work quite right. The location is fantastic, right in the center of Hanoi, just a few minutes away from Hoan Kiem

An alleyway view shows a set of industrial stairs with a wooden platform, leading upward. A vivid red lantern hangs nearby, contrasting with the exposed concrete walls. Natural light filters through the opening, emphasizing the raw architectural elements.

An old iron bridge displays a series of rusted beams and railings, creating a linear perspective that draws the eye forward. A figure stands in the foreground, wearing a tan coat and holding a bag, framed by the scenic architecture of the structure.

Loved our stay here! The place was clean, cozy, and in such a great location…right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. You really get the best of both worlds: the local charm and easy access to all the tourist spots. 😍😍😍 Big shoutout to the hosts… they were super friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. 🥰 Only thing to note: the stairs are steep, so going up and down with luggage was a bit of a workout 😂 Not a big deal for us, but might be a little tough for seniors or anyone with mobility concerns. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Hanoi like a local!😍🇻🇳

Long Windows room in Hoan Kiem| Old quarter

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The apartment was lovely and in a great location for exploring Hanoi, especially the Old Quarter. The bed was super comfortable, which was a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing. The only minor thing is that the street noise could be a bit loud at night, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs. We’re not light sleepers and like to stay out late, so the street noise didn’t bother us at all. In fact, being in the Old Quarter gave us a true local experience that we’d never get staying in a hotel. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Vân was a fantastic host! The flat was spotless, well-equipped, and perfect for our stay. The air conditioning was 10/10, the bed was super comfortable and the balcony was great to soak up the atmosphere of Hanoi’s old quarter. Vân was always quick to respond and shared great nearby food recommendations. She knew the area well and gave us helpful tips on how to spend our time. The location was perfect, with plenty of great cafes and restaurants just a few minutes away. We couldn’t have asked for a better host, definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples wanting an authentic experience in Hanoi. We wish we had stayed for longer!
