This home was the perfect stay to end our 13-day island hopping tour. After 4 hotel stays we were beyond excited to see the home equipped with so many treats for an amazing Maui experience. From morning coffee paired with the sunrise on the lanai to turtle watching out back at sunset, we had an amazing stay and the unit had everything we needed. We were sad to spend such short time in the actual unit, but it had everything you needed to stay for a while. Fully stocked mini kitchen made it easy to whip up a couple of things. Filtered water from the tap was available and made refilling our bottles easy. The view of the black sand beach from the patio was beautiful. Falling asleep to the waves crashing in was like your own personal calm app. Exploring the beach was fun, as there is a little surprise find down there! But the most delightful surprise was the patio couch/bed. We all know how dirty and insect infested patio furniture can become, but this bed was so clean and bug-less! I was in completely bliss laying out there. Even the pillows were clean! Will definitely book again if back in Hāna.

This was exactly how it is described and pictured. Sitting on the deck was so fun to see the beautiful flora and fauna of Hana. We really enjoyed our night there after the long ride with many stops. Great location to nearby food, coffee etc...

I give this place a 5* review based on the value. It was clean. It had the basics of what you need for the place. Location is good. Close to Hana and far enough off the road where traffic noise wasn't an issue. But realize that a 'Hawaiian basic home' is different from a basic home you'd find on the mainland. So if you are looking for a 'pretty little place' or if you are particular, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for value and a clean place to lay your head at night after a long day of hiking and/or hanging at the beach... its hard to find a better place for the money.

Gabby was great and the Hana Inn Maui was indeed located in a wonderful place, conveniently located closely to the many well known stops in Hana (accessible by car). Her place was very clean and the linens were well maintained. The listing is accurate in that there is no A.C, as with many places in Hana. But she does provide a ceiling fan and portable one. opening the windows at night helps. its a small, quaint town, which really gives "old Hawaii" vibes. with that said, I felt that Gabby did the best with remodeling, the bathroom was clean and up to date. and the kitchen additions were enough. it felt very peaceful and safe at night. keep in mind places close early in Hana, and there's only one gas station in town, so make sure you buy the supplies you need for the next day before it gets dark. Definitely check out Waiʻānapanapa State Park that's located nearby. extremely worth the price of admission! Support Thai by Pranee, she's such a wonderful lady with amazing Thai food too.
