Fantastic value, very nice host, can’t beat it. Parking was a little tricky, but J took care of us, even when we came back for the night super late. The space was in the middle of an update, but offered more than expected. Can’t beat it for the value. Literally steps from a very quiet beach!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

Betina was amazing and helpful. Property is on a private resort and very close to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and lots of wonderful restaurants. The staff at the resort were also extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Mark’s place while visiting my daughter, who’s in the Navy, and it was the perfect spot for some peaceful downtime. Even though it’s a shared home, the bedroom and bathroom felt very private and exceptionally clean. I was comfortable the entire time and slept well. The house itself is like walking into an art installation—colorful, unexpected, and full of personality. You never quite know what light or feature will come to life next, which made it fun and memorable. Both hosts are clearly creative souls with a flair for design. The backyard was my favorite part—lush with plants, fountains, and statues, all backing up to the Chesapeake waters. At night, it turns into a magical light show with just the sounds of nature and water features. So peaceful and calming. They even had a little breakfast area set up with bakery items and coffee—such a thoughtful touch. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind and restful experience.

We stayed here to greet our son’s ship coming back from deployment. It was the perfect location for our traveling needs while we were there. Vernon had a great game room that we absolutely loved took advantage of, a beautiful patio in the back to relax at and we all had a wonderful time. Vernon was friendly, helpful and very responsive when we had any questions. Check out was a breeze, and for that I am grateful because of a very early flight.

Our family had a great time at Catherine's place. It's a quick 5-7 minute drive to historic Cape Charles with shops and dining and also the beach. The house had a cute, beachy decor with little areas like the game room and the back sun porch where our family could spread out when needed. The kitchen had everything we needed ...there is great local seafood nearby so we did a big dinner one night. Besides going into Cape Charles, we enjoyed a morning at Kiptopeke State park which is about 10 minutes away. They have bikes and kayaks to rent as well as a nice beach area. This house was perfect for exploring the Eastern Shore of Va!

We loved staying here. Her and her husband were very friendly along with their cat LEO!! We had the bathroom all to ourselves down the hall and we’re not ever bothered by them. We would stay there again in a heartbeat if we go out to Norfolk again. Totally great place to stay!!!

What a nice place to stay. We had stayed at Nana’s place once before, prior to Nik owning it. Nik is managing the property better. The outdoor trash cans were new this time. I appreciate little things like that. His pre-arrival instructions were thorough and helpful. I reached out to him prior to our arrival to verify the beach parking passes were included with our stay. He quickly responded and said they were and that they would verify prior to arrival. He ensured that happened. He messaged me and said the passes were in the property. He also messaged me on the day of our arrival to tell us the place was ready for us.

Our stay at Chucks House was amazing. Everything we needed Chuck had, or was able to easily get for us. Even then, we barely noticed he was there unless we actively went searching for him or needed him. The home itself couldn’t have been more perfect and it elevated our stay to a whole different level. The view of the lake is incredible and the airport being close is not a problem, it was pretty cool getting to see all the planes take off and land in fact. Both of the bedrooms were comfy and easy to sleep in. The living room has plenty of options to sleep in to the point where I could’ve slept in a different bed every night we stayed. We had all the amenities we needed to cook, breakfast and dinner. The hot tub was extremely nice and we used it every single day. Overall our stay was incredible and we could not have asked for better.

The house is very spacious, immaculately clean, and stocked to the brim with everything you need for your stay. Julia is a very kind and gracious host, and very quick to respond to any communication! We do wish we had known beforehand that the owners live onsite, and not in a separate property or mother-in-law apartment, but actually in the same home with you, passing through the living spaces, etc. Again, they were so kind and never lingered. But wanted to share that in case if privacy is important to potential future renters.
