Beachfront vacation rentals in Hamilton County

This was our first trip to Lake Pleasant but it will not be our last. The neighboring houses were a great fit for our group. Andrew was very helpful and responsive to questions while I tried to figure out logistics. Everyone loved having our own little beach to enjoy a weekend of “lake life”. Location is on a peaceful stretch of a big bay on a clean beautiful lake. The house is comfy and comfortably fits a group. Even if you were in the kitchen, or cooking on the barbecue you didn’t miss out on the lake fun. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back.

Surrounded by wilderness and only the sounds of nature. Not even a distant sound of highway. Beautiful large fireplace and spacious for family and friends. Hosts are very welcoming and care deeply as stewards of the land.

This has become one of our family's favorite spots, it has been a great way to kickoff our summer season. The home blew away everyone's expectations as each person walked in. They were in awe of how beautiful, hospitable, perfectly felt right at home kind of atmosphere. The grounds were perfect for our two families and two dogs to play and relax. We might go on the host and could not have appreciated him anymore for his proactive communication and his friendly nature.

Jon's cabins are a lovely getaway in the Adirondacks. The area is very quiet, and feels very private even with other cabins nearby. Sunrises are incredible with an east-facing view of the lake.

Absolutely wonderful. The lake house and cabin were perfect for the number of people we had. The owner Glenn is a hard worker and his accommodations are perfect. He and his wife Bev do such a great job taking care of their properties. This is our 2nd time at their Lake Pleasant lake house and we can’t wait to go back. A wonderful stay .👍

This cabin just outside of Speculator has amazing views of Lake Pleasant from the screened front dining porch. The grounds are lovely, and there are docks, boats available, and small beaches. A good restaurant (Inn at Speculator) is next door, and others are available a short drive away. Good location to reach other parts of the Adirondacks. The cabin is super-cozy and comfortable, plus surprisingly spacious inside. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Log Cabin: 8 guests + dogs. Place is a little outdated but all of the necessities are there. Owners are on the other side of the trees and responsive to messages and requests. Owners' dogs Chase & Chloie roam the grounds and are very friendly. House is not directly ON lake but nicely set back from other cabins, directly across from kayak entry point. There is no AC but the sun sets and rises on the sides of the buildings and ceilings are high. Days were warm but not unbearable, nights were cool. Lake nearby to drive or walk to. We took the 5-minute walk each time. Mountains/hiking right nearby. My suggestion would be to contact owners about what is/isn't included in your stay ahead of time before booking. Ask about bed linens, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, firewood. House was roomy and clean. Wraparound deck with great views. There are other cabins on site closer to water and closer together. We liked the privacy of this one being further away.

We had 5 kids with us, and they had a great time! They swam off our private beach, and enjoyed bonfires off the back of the house. Within quick driving distance of everything we wanted to see. Would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here

You cannot go wrong staying at Covewood on Big Moose Lake. The cottages are adorably comfortable, the staff frienly and helpful and the area has more hiking, biking and paddling than you can shake a walking stick at. Highest recommendations for a classic ADK getaway.

Kevin was a great host and the house was perfect for our family! Nothing beats waking up and sitting by the lake - the surroundings were gorgeous and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Owl's Nest Retreat!. The house was charming, especially the deck where we ate most of our meals. The lake was warm and we (most of us) swam every day. It was a little tricky getting our kayaks down the stairs to the dock but manageable.

loved it and want to book again for next year. peaceful with great kayaking out the back door great hikes a short drive away house was really well equipped with everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable host was fabulous!

Had a wonderful time here while skiing at Gore Mountain over a long weekend.

It was a perfect location for snowmobiling, lake trail access or easy trail access without lake entrance. Every one had their own bathroom for the stay. Everything was clean and great for everyone who stayed. Big lot to store trailers if you brought one and plenty of overflow parking for vehicles. I will definitely stay here next year if we have snow. When I had a question they answered immediately even though it was 2300 hours.

Great place when you want to be on the lake. The owners were extremely nice. The free firewood was absolutely amazing. It allowed us to have fires every night.

Teresa’s place was gorgeous, clean, private and there were a lot of things to do for everyone. The place was well stocked and even provided kayak, life jackets and wet shoes which made the stay even more enjoyable as we were able to be on the water even though we did not take anything with us. If you are looking for a great time, do visit Teresa’s place.

This home is amazing. Literally sitting on the shore of Lake Sacandaga and surrounded by beautiful woods. The home is so comfortable and clean. It had anything we needed for our long weekend stay. We enjoyed the fireplace, board games, watching the northern lights from the deck and cooking. Very centrally located as we explored all around the area, from Wells, Northville and Speculator! We will be back!

quaint and within walking distance to pubs, coffee, shopping with a lovely view of the lake. on site manager was friendly and helpful and other then the weather (which the host can't control) we had a fun stay. loved the warm blankets and comfy beds!
