Nice apartment, which corresponded exactly to the description and pictures, Julian and Anna were very sweet and good at giving advice and hints for ships and restaurants etc. Thank you so much for that, we'd love to come back.

We used the apartment to visit the harbor anniversary in Hamburg. From Elmshorn, the train connection is ideal for getting into town. The apartment is very clean and comfortably furnished. The view of the Elbe from the apartment is fantastic. The Creperie, which is run by the hostess Yvonne on the first floor of the house, invites you to visit with all kinds of delicacies. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend the accommodation.

We had a great long weekend in the beautiful old house with Antje and Mathias. Great location with Elbe beach near walking distance, dyke, playground, sheep, chickens – perfect for movement children. Arrival by public transport also worked out well, even if a car is helpful on site, because shopping is not within direct walking distance. Many thanks to this place for the last minute bike rental for bun picking and the fresh, delicious breakfast eggs :)

I stayed at this place just outside Hamburg for three days and am more than satisfied! The hostess completely blew me away – it is rare to experience such warmth, helpfulness and attentiveness. The apartment was sparkling clean, modernly furnished and designed with a lot of love for detail. I felt super comfortable from the first moment. The location was quiet and perfect for switching off, but still well connected. Overall, an absolutely recommended accommodation – I will definitely be happy to come back!

Our stay at this place was really enjoyable. There were six of us, three couples, and everyone was very happy with the accommodation, the amenities, the rooms and the surroundings. The furnishing style did not please everyone immediately, but it was basically varied. The kitchen, the bedrooms and the two bathrooms were particularly noteworthy. The surroundings are unique and delighted us all. In summary, a visit to Kollmar is definitely worthwhile. If you are a large family with up to four children, this house is ideal. We were allowed to use the apartment for over 1 week and make Hamburg unsafe. Very nice location in the Treppenviertel (i.e. after the vacation you are really fit!) with a view of the water. Very bright and nicely decorated, everything you need is available. Sebastian was immediately available for questions and took care of them. Just the right place for our needs.

The house of Irena is very nice, clean and well maintained. From the first moment we felt comfortable The fenced garden is a dream for our dog and also well maintained. Irena is very friendly and helpful and the communication quick and easy. The surrounding area offers plenty of space for walking with a dog, right on the Luhe. Wonderful. In the spring or summer certainly even more beautiful. I'd love to visit again.

The previous tenants Samuels & Ms. accommodation have already expressed a lot very nicely and aptly. Living in this so beautifully designed apartment with the appreciative antique details, the interior, the great kitchen, its extensive amenities, the beautiful view to the outside during the kitchen work and the stay in the old country was enriching. It was a stay and living that went beyond sobering convenience. The individual history of the house and its former residents were just as noticeable, like the current owners with their appreciation and attention to details and their ambitious working process of converting the house into a vacation rental. The proximity of the Elbe, wonderful evening sky, numerous possibilities through Hamburg , the old country, the wonderful old courtyards - everything has enriched our vacation, thank you to Samuel, wife and previous owner. We had a very nice stay.

We had a wonderful time in this fantastic cottage. Everything was perfectly furnished and lovingly designed. Especially with a small child, we could enjoy the great surroundings – plenty of space to play, tranquility and pure nature. Absolutely recommended!

Wiebke is such a nice hostess. I found everything well prepared and clearly marked. Blankenese is a cool little old town on the western outskirts of Hamburg. It was built into the high cliff above the Elbe River and some house cannot be reached by car! You have to be able and willing to walk stairs. There is a metro line to Blankenese and a little bus that takes one the last bit if one doesn’t want to walk. Wiebke‘s house is very old and renovated ingeniously. The guest room has a fine view and the bathroom is charming with hand-made tiles and a generous bath tub.

I stayed with Linda for three days and was warmly welcomed upon my arrival. I felt like I belonged and didn't feel like a stranger. The accommodation is very quiet, matched the description, was clean and the transport connection is good. The private bathroom makes you self-sufficient and you can also use the kitchen and garden. Room and bathroom were clean and conveniently furnished, even a TV was available. All in all, I felt very comfortable with Linda and would book the room again if necessary.

Tropical Paradise is an oasis, great flat, fantastic hosts and a perfect base to visit Hamburg! Be sure to bring your dub playlist, as we did :)

Very very nice hosts, good and easy communication, the reception was great, we would receive a friendly welcome, everything was shown to us, explained and also given recommendations for activities. the apartment itself corresponds to the description, you have everything you need. All in all we had a very nice stay, always back with Julia.

Simone and Alexander provided us with a warm and homely welcome in their typical German-Danish style cottage. The duplex is brand new, spotless and beautifully decorated. A big plus is the modern design combined with gorgeous renovated wooden beams in the ceiling. All the comfort one needs is provided and then some! The hosts are super friendly and make guests feel like family, also you are able to contact them whenever if you have questions or requests of any kind. The duplex is very comfortable, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and the bedding is immaculate (you will sleep like a baby)! The environment of the house is very calm, in the middle of nature and the Kollmar beach is literally 10 steps away. Simone will provide you with maps of things-to-do, walking routes and directions to the nearest shops and amenities. We had a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to book there again! Very kind and respectful host. The apartment is on the outskirts of the city in a very beautiful and quiet area, but well connected by buses and metro. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom. I highly recommend it.

This was already our fourth vacation at the Elbe Boardinghouse and we are enjoying the beautiful accommodation and area every time! Just to feel good and relax and absolutely recommend with a child! Thank you for everything!
