The Beach House with Beautiful Ocean Views

This was one of the cleanest and most beautiful places we have stayed in. It was described perfectly in the listing and the hosts were very helpful. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay, relax, and see the local area. Be mindful that places to eat are limited and have limited hours. The road to get to the Beach House takes a while because it is winding and mountainous and takes about 45 minutes to get to the main road.

Talk about Northern California paradise, Graeme's place is so beautiful and so relaxing. It is a bit of a drive from the 101 but so worth it for the peace and quiet; slept better than I have in months. Trees forever; well supplied kitchen--you can cook anything as plenty of pots/pans, utensils. Books and games for kids and adults; we had 3 generations with us and everyone hated to leave.

Bret and Phil were excellent hosts that had thought of everything a guest would need for a great getaway. The beautiful “Treehouse” is modern and charming with every amenity provided, to make it feel like a home away from home. Nestled amongst the Redwoods, the backyard is private and beautiful. The deck has plenty of comfortable chairs and is the perfect spot for wildlife viewing! The kitchen is well appointed and stocked. Fantastic coffee selection and barista style syrup station- What more could one ask for?! But wait, there’s more! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. We did indulge in some late evening s’mores. Close to the shops in Mendo and within a 20 min drive to multiple locations like the Skunk Train, Botanical Garden and Glass Beach. Overall, I’d score them a 10 out of 5!! Can’t wait to return someday.

LOVE this spot. The wood fire pizza oven was fun (you might wanna review some tutorials online on using this type of oven, bring a couple doughs). The land was gorgeous. The bath was a top 5 bathing experience of life for me, really cool under the redwood grove. if you are a bath lover, this experience is a must. This is an off grid location so be prepared for no phone access and to properly internalize directions on how to use things (generator, plumbing, compost toliet). Also if you're bringing pets keep a close eye, you are in nature, I saw a coyote and was glad to have my two small dogs close to put inside for a minute. Thank you!
