The house with the old and nice stove, the garden, the treehouse - wonderful! Very relaxing and quiet area and also pretty close to Białowieża. The surrounding villages have some amazing wooden architecture and great local food (sourdough bread, home-maked cottage cheese etc). We renovated the cottage with our own hands, and in fact it was done by my dad, who grew up here. The old cupboard is a souvenir of my grandmother, the beams visible on the ceilings have watched the life of its inhabitants for nearly 100 years, and the kitchen countertop was made of boards found in the barn.
