We stayed at this beautiful home and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The house was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated — every detail was thoughtfully done. It’s incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host was beyond responsive and helpful, answering every question promptly and making us feel truly welcome. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one stands out. We can’t recommend it highly enough — everything was perfect!

This BnB is in contention for my FAVORITE stay of all time. Family of 6 adults and 1 child had more than enough space, and Jeanne really made our stay effortless. We felt right at home and we didn't have to make that last minute trip to the store you sometimes have to make bc the host skimped on providing toilet paper or dish soap, because she honestly thought of EVERYTHING ❤️ My granddaughter loved the pool and dips in the hot tub after swimsmade the adults happy. The location and view are to die for, and the two pups were ecstatic playing in the large fenced area. We spent a lot of time outside, plenty of furniture, fire pit, just eating dinner on the deck. (Missing NOTHING in the kitchen either!) Our last night we spent sitting and talking on the deck trying to identify the multitude of frog voices from the pond, before we parted ways to our various home states. I am most grateful for memories made and we are definitely considering a repeat! ❤️Thank you!

This was such a wonderful home! As other reviewers said, lots of room for a big group to spread out. We had 8 guests. (6 adults and two kids) We explored Harpers Ferry and enjoyed hiking the Maryland Heights Trail. We felt absolutely comfortable hanging at this serene house for our mornings and evenings. Cooked most of our meals, played billiards, sang karaoke, and enjoyed the plunge pool. We had an epic round of hide and go seek. Great interior design and lots of space to spread out for quiet time, and many perfect reading nooks. Thanks Leigh, for being so responsive and friendly!

We LOVED everything about this place. It was such a short drive into our favorite part of town. Beautiful to wake up in the morning and have coffee on the front porch. We stayed on a hot weekend so having the pool was fantastic. My girls loved being able to swim in between exploring Gettysburg. And my two year old especially loved getting to talk about the cows. Our best Gettysburg stay yet!

Was a wonderful immersive experience. We enjoyed dining and playing board games in the great hall. The escape rooms were very well done. I was skeptical on how it would go without a game master, even had some nice surprise moments. Looking forward to staying again. Kids were upset we weren't staying all week.

I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

Patricia and her family were very responsive and accommodating in allowing me to host a large party gathering for a whole day. They worked with me to come up with flexible check-in / check-out times and fair prices. The outdoor space was beautiful and my family of +25 people all had space to sit and eat outside. I was most appreciative of their prompt and detailed responses to all my questions! Great family to work with and a beautiful home. We hope to do another family reunion there next year!

Really nice place off a quiet street in Bolivar/Harper’s Ferry. Very clean and exactly as advertised. Hosts provided great instructions and it was easy to access and enter. Convenient to hiking trails and sight seeing. Would stay here again and recommend.

Host was very accommodating and responsive to questions we had. This is our second time staying at Hydrangea Hills and we will definitely book again if we are in the area.

The Colliers’ home offers a warm, family-friendly environment conveniently located just a few miles from the historic Maryland Theatre and Washington County Park. From toys for young children to board games for older kids, Bill and Dory have thoughtfully included everything a family might need—including an impressive spice rack for those who love to cook. They are also incredibly responsive hosts, and my family felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. You can’t go wrong choosing the Colliers’ place for your next vacation.

Fantastic property, fantastic hosts. A+. So many amenities, nothing was overlooked. Very clean and orderly. Loved the layout. Screened in porch was perfect, patio, hot tub, use of kayaks, freshly baked bread, entire interior was awesome. I’m telling you, nothing was overlooked in making our stay so memorable. Thinking about booking? Do it now. You won’t regret it. This can’t be beat.

Great house in a great neighborhood! Very close to restaurants and stores but you wouldn’t know it at the house. Big yard and the place was very clean. If you need a place in the area this is the place to stay!

This is the cleanest air bnb we have ever experienced. Andrea clearly goes to great efforts to assure cleanliness including clean aromas. The beds, sheets, and pillows appear to be new and very comfortable. The fenced-in yard and private off-road driveway are a plus. We had a campfire using the designated area with Adirondack chairs. A young deer came out of the forest to graze about 75 feet from us. We loved the rolling forested hills. Nearby Frederick, Waynesboro, and Hagerstown offered many restaurants, breweries, and stores. This place is a gem!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is beautiful and our favorite part was enjoying the outdoor tub at sunset. Would love to stay again!

We stopped here on the way to the beach and felt right at home. The home was clean and spacious, and our host was prompt to answer questions. Our family highly recommends this location to other travelers coming through, or to, the area!

This home in the rolling hills of Middletown was what my parents, husband I needed for a trip back to our hometown for a family wedding. Comfortable, clean home with a great kitchen. All the appliances I needed to prepare our meals. Lots of room in the lower level too. Close to restaurants in Middletown and easy access to Frederick and beyond. Highly recommend this home.

Home was as described, very clean, and appears recently refreshed. The latter exceeded expectations. Very convenient location if you're in the area for Academy events. Check in was easy and the host was responsive to communication. No complaints.

Beautifully decorated, well maintained, perfectly appointed cottage on a quiet peaceful street. Fluffy towels and comfortable beds and linen. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch rocking chairs while it was raining, and it was perfect for my family of 4 and our dog for one night on our way back home, as we had everything we needed. We felt like we were in a house with at least some history and driving just a few minutes up the road to Gathland State Park we discovered even if the house didn't exist in that time frame, the address was very close to the Battle of Crampton Gap. The house is also very convenient to Harper's Ferry; and though we didn't have much time, it was close enough that we were able to explore for a few hours.

What a wonderful mountainside retreat! The home is beautifully decorated and spotless. All the unique touches gave the place a loving feel. It is a peaceful setting and the view is spectacular. April was thoughtful in her suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area. She responded quickly to any messages sent. She is a great host. My husband and I hope to return soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and pristinely kept Airbnb. We were in the area for our son's graduation, and the house was perfect for our family to call home for the weekend. Stephanie was very communicative leading up to our stay and made sure we had the information we needed to easily access the home. Upon arrival, the home was immaculately kept! Every room was clean--from corner to corner--and beautifully decorated and welcoming. There were accommodating details at every turn--smores kits, corn hole, travel accessories--Stephanie thought of everything to make our stay feel special! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We will certainly be back to enjoy this home.

We were displaced from our house and Thembi was very gracious in letting us stay for many months. She was always responsive in moments to any questions or needs we had. Incredibly supportive and a wonder help during our trying time. If we could give her more than 5 stars, we would!

The compound and my cabin were situated in a wooded area with fabulous views of the open countryside from our elevation of about 1400 feet. The cabin was just as presented, and comfortable, spotless, and extremely well equipped, including the kitchen. The internet connectivity was excellent. We had a few heating problems initially due to abnormally cold sub-freezing conditions, 10+ degrees below normal, and a ferocious 12-hour windstorm through the leafless trees. However, my hosts were terrifically responsive and cleared the problems up very quickly. They offered, and I accepted, a personal tour of the whole compound and its shared facilities. Overall, it was a pleasurable and productive experience and I would certainly return--especially in non-December conditions, when the outdoors setting and views could be better enjoyed outdoors! I would recommend it without reservation.
