fantastic mountain getaway. at first we were bummed the weather was going to keep us inside but this Airbnb made it such an enjoyable and relaxing vacation nonetheless. beds were very comfortable, space was beautiful, and such a bonus that they provided the firewood for evening fires. will absolutely be coming back to see this space intiple seasons.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Bearwood Cabin. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing, easy trip. The kids especially loved the sport court—it was a great way to burn off energy—and the hot tub was clean and perfect for winding down in the evenings. We appreciated having a grill ready to go with full propane, and the firepit was a hit for s’mores and mountain pies. The cabin was well-stocked with all the basics, which made settling in easy. The location next to Cacapon State Park was ideal. We enjoyed mountain biking, swimming, and horseback riding just a short drive away. There was also plenty of space on the property for our dogs to safely explore off leash, which was a nice bonus. Everything tech-related—from the WiFi to the TVs—worked just as expected, and the hosts, Eric and April, were quick to respond to any questions. Overall, a great spot for families looking for a mix of outdoor fun and downtime.

We could not have nicer things to say about the hosts, the home, and the local community. Excellent restaurants in town with some nice markets, everything you need is close by. The hosts were extremely accommodating, provided excellent instructions/recommendations in their communications. The home was very well designed and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay.

This property was absolutely perfect. It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband’s anniversary trip. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The dock was perfect to be able to sit and fish and just dangle your toes in the water. About 1 mile away, you are able to float right down the Shenandoah river directly back to your dock. So much wildlife! You feel so secluded in natural but yet everything is within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beautiful getaway.

Loved this cabin!!! It’s older than the ones in the area but is such an amazing steal for the cost!! Gorgeous wraparound porch and nice layout. It’s an older cabin in the middle of the woods so there’s some bugs but that’s what you sign up for in the woods. Really loved this place and would love to come back

The drive up into The Woods was beautiful(4x4 recommended 😄)& once we got into the community, we felt safe. When we walked into Cedar Loft we were welcomed by fresh baked cookies, snacks,& a sweet, hand written card.The cabin smelled like a cabin in the woods & was so cozy & warm. There was low music playing on the TV too which just all in all felt so warm & welcoming. I was with my mother, daughter, & niece-the girls slept in the loft which they absolutely loved. Everyone wanted to stay longer. Our purpose was to get away, relax& be in nature. That was definitely accomplished staying here. There were many throwback CD movies that brought me back to my childhood. We laughed& cried &really enjoyed that nostalgic touch. Everything was clean& comfortable, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, being out by the fire pit& swimming at the pool. The cabin was stocked with everything you might need. Thank you for such a memorable stay. The journal was so special. There were tears on the way out.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

Teddi and Adam were great hosts and have such a beautiful place that provided some much needed peace and quiet! We really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house offered so many things for us to do as a family. We had such a good time playing darts, pingpong, board games, and hanging out around the fire pit. The Woods is our favorite place to go because of all the amenities. Highly recommend!

The Cabin on the Run was fantastic. It was spotless, I think the beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in at an airbnb, my son (9 y/o) loved the toys upstairs, and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The woods surrounding were absolutely beautiful, which we enjoyed walking through during the day, and relaxing on the comfortable sofa in the evening.

It's a beautiful escape from the city, tucked away in the woods. very peaceful and Serene, there wasn't too much around but it's the perfect getaway.

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. Wonderful place to spend time with friend and family. We enjoyed playing ping pong/ pool and outdoor fire pits in the evening. Also enjoyed peaceful birds calls from the porch and stars at night!!

My family of 5 (including our pug Billy) had a wonderful stay at Applemoon Cabin. It is such a cute & cozy place. Everything was very clean. We loved the screened in porch, the loft and the fire pit outside. The stream next to the fire pit was peaceful and made for relaxing evenings sitting outside. We drove downtown to Harper’s Ferry and did some exploring and site seeing - the drive was only about 20 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. I recommend this cabin to those who are going to visit Harper’s Ferry area. Thank you for hosting us Ashley & Jason!

Very beautiful cabin with a beautiful view! Brittany & Nick were very responsive and I felt like I could reach out to them with anything I needed.

we loved it. the lake is nice, good fishing, fun to swim at. grill was provided at house etc. my only drawback to be advised of is you cant have a campfire which would have been nice. not at Sandra's fault but their neighborhood doesn't allow it. place is very secluded and nice

Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

Sean's place was beautiful and close to Berkley Springs but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. highly recommend this to anyone wanting a get away .
