Luxury detached guesthouse - rural location

IngridRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

Villa Wolde II (12p.) met Hottub

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had great days at the place. House and kitchen are equipped with everything you need, the bathrooms were very clean and totally sufficient for us with 9 people. There is plenty of space everywhere and we felt very comfortable. The garden and terrace are really a highlight. It is a pity that music in the garden is not tolerated by the neighbors at all.

Exceptional house on waterfront

GwenRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

Enjoy "Sea time in the 2nd home"

Kirsten Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very nice time in the accommodation. Stefan and Tim were very friendly and always responded directly to our questions. The decor is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. With 3 adults who are not intimate with each other, the sleeping arrangements were a little too cramped. Unfortunately, no window could be opened in one of the bedrooms. The property is very nice and well suited for a cozy evening. The walk to the beach was a little longer than expected, but is doable on foot. The surrounding area is very nice and always worth a trip!

Beautiful Family Home close to the beach

ThomasRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Linde is a great host, proactive for anything which might go wrong, gave a good list of facilities, restaurants, shops, places of interest and quick to respond to any issues we had. We had a couple of hot days and Linde suggested ways in which we could get cooler. The location is great, just 5 mins from the railway station. There is a park across the road and a boat hire 2 mins away. Amsterdam is 20 mins away by train. We went to Amsterdam several times but it is so crowded compared to Haarlem. We had small children with us. They loved the toybox which Linde had generously left. All in all we had a great host, a great location and a great stay.

Quaint "Vijfhoek" (Five corners)

BillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jill’s home is absolutely perfect and a wonderful discovery! Clean, extremely comfortable and artistically appointed, this could be our favorite Airbnb home. Conveniently located, it is a short walk to a bus stop which regularly connects to Amsterdam train lines and a bus to Schiphol airport. Haarlem’s key sites are all within walking distance, as is a local farmers market, grocery stores, numerous shops and restaurants, bakeries and outdoor dining. And it’s quiet (!) away from Amsterdam’s hustle and bustle. I can’t think of a better situation. And best of all, Jill is a perfect host, attentive to all our needs and great fun to chat with! We will not stay anywhere else when visiting Haarlem / Amsterdam. (For those with mobility issues, be aware the living room and bedroom are accessed by a steep stair).

Charming family house with garden close to the beach

FlorianRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Michiel's house is stunning and beautiful. We loved every detail of it - the paintings, the furniture, everything was unique and in perfect harmony with the beautiful old house. The rooms are spacious and bright. We all loved the sunny and shady patio/garden. The kids were playing ping-pong almost all the time, and we all enjoyed sitting at the wooden garden table having drinks and nibbles in the sun. Michiel is a lovely host - very proactive, very caring, very quick in answering questions. He had put together a very detailed manual for the house and its surroundings (including recommendations for the best bakery, the best supermarkets and the very best chip shop). We were even allowed to use the family's city bikes, which was absolutely great given that Haarlem is a city made for cyclists. Also very nice neighborhood with many kids and friendly people. It was always easy to find a parking lot in the street, and the parking there is for free!

Our stay at Charlotte‘s house was just wonderful. Everything was absolutely clean and very cozy. The Bloemendaal train station was just a 5min walk away and took us in 5min to the Haarlem city center and 25min to Amsterdam. The communication was extremely friendly. All in all we had a great time there :)!

The stay at Monique's place was fabulous. The house is extremely tasteful and high-quality and invites you to spend the evening at home. The kitchen is very large, as well equipped as your own and invites you to cook. Monique is very friendly and outgoing. The communication was great and easy. The location is ideal, central but quiet. With a small courtyard, the house is well suited for any season. I would come back anytime.

Cozy home in Haarlem

Perfect spot for our stay in the Netherlands! Noëlle’s place is beautiful with everything we needed for our trip. Very easy to get to from the train so we could retreat to a peaceful oasis after days exploring the country side and other cities. So much to do within the city of Haarlem and so easy to get around. Walkable to cafes, restaurants, and shops and a beautiful garden that we loved relaxing in to start and end our days. Felt right at home from the moment we walked in and loved our stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Atmospheric 1930s home Haarlem

We can absolutely recommend staying at Nienke's place in Haarlem! The communication always worked well and upon arrival we found the house as shown on the pictures, rather even more beautiful :) The furnishings are cozy and at the same time stylish, the kitchen well equipped including a great gas stove. Our children were happy with the diverse toys they were all allowed to use - these gave us parents some quiet hours and relaxation. The cat Siepie was very straightforward and cute. The house is located in the family planetary district, you can reach several beautiful parks in the immediate vicinity, the city center/train station in 8 minutes by bike and the beach in about 30 minutes. We enjoyed our holiday and can only recommend it to other families! Thank you Nienke!

Family home in Haarlem city center (Vijfhoek)

GuillaumeRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Wonderful place. It is both private and peaceful and walkable to great shopping, restaurants, historical places, and a 30 minute bike ride to the beach. The house is small by American standards, but so well thought-out and optimized that it does not feel small at all, on the contrary even, it feels homey and inviting. The decor is warm and graceful, and the house breathes of family joy.

Cozy townhouse in Haarlem, near Amsterdam

The place is in a good location near a street full of restaurants and shops. It's walkable to those, a grocery store, and the river. The unit is lovely and the decor and amenities have a designer's aesthetic. They felt premium for an AirBnB! Carolien was helpful and accommodating to our schedule, and had good communication. We had a very nice stay. Thank you Carolien!

The Wick

ElienneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay in this beautiful family home was wonderful from the start. I’ve never before stayed anywhere so well stocked with wine (of course we still brought our own groceries) and with so many gadgets and appliances, there was nothing missing! It’s been renovated with high end finishings, things are generally beautiful, and everything’s works efficient and practical. The living kitchen/dining is spacious with lots of light from back garden, which, if weather permits, is another nice space to sit. It’s a short drive to the beach which made it easy to go to for the kids to play in the sand and for lunches and dinner at various beach clubs in Bloemendaal aan Zee. Would love to stay here again!
