Cosy, bright and clean designers house just 4 min walk from Heemstede/Aerdenhout station. A frequent and direct line brings you in only 20 min to Amsterdam Centre or Schiphol airport (45 min.) Great place for good sleep after exploring city dynamics, local shopping or work. The room is on the quiet, sunny garden side of the house and for one person only. You will be sharing the bathroom and other facilities with us. We have one other (double) room listed. Free public car parking available
“I found that everything was in line with the presentation on the "airbnb" site. The price was really reasonable for a room and a single bed, 5 minutes from Heemstede-Aerdenhout train station and in 20 minutes arrival at Amsterdam Centraal, frequent trains and with the "9292" app it's very easy to plan his trip. So I was largely a winner on the price of housing by being a bit off center in Amsterdam.”
“We had a very nice stay. The Apartment is located near the city center of Haarlem and there is a bus line in the street, that brings you directly to the central station. From there it takes you less than 30 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. The apartment has a lot of equipment and was the most stylish apartment if've ever been too. Very good for a trip to Amsterdam, but also for a stay in Haarlem. To Zandvoort and the sea it takes you just 15 minutes by car.”
My house is comfortable and situated downtown in a calm street. Due to the fact that my house is small and has shared rooms, a female guest only and I can give full harted hospitality for max 5 days a month. I am busy as a volunteer in a historical society. I do speak English, French and German.
“This is the nicest Airbnb I have ever booked! Johanna is a wonderful host who went the extra mile every day. It more felt like visiting my favourite aunt than staying at a stranger’s home. Everything was just perfect from start to finish. The room with en-suite toilet is very cozy in a quiet side street. The bed was nice and comfortable. The location is ideal, just a few minutes’ walk to the centre of this idyllic town. Johanna always checked what I wanted for breakfast and was eager to provide me with plenty of useful tips when visiting Haarlem and Amsterdam. Her welcome was very warm including home made dinner. This was definitely an extra lovely, totally unexpected surprise. We actually had dinner together pretty much every evening which was wonderful and made me feel very at home. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return for future visits. Thank you again for your outstanding hospitality and lovely conversations, Johanna. You are one of a kind. :)”
