The "Donauland Carnuntum" area offers delightful hiking and biking trails, culture and culinary delicacies. Excursions to Bratislava, the Roman city of Carnuntum or the nearby Marchfeld castles by bike or boat are particularly recommended in the summer months. Budapest and Vienna can be easily reached in 90 minutes by car and at Lake Balaton they are also at the same time.
