This was a great home base for exploring the area! Would definitely stay again!

If Katy’s place is available for your trip to Fairhope, just book it. What a lovely place to relax. We felt as though we were in our own private oasis, yet we were close enough to downtown Fairhope to walk there. The cottage has everything you’d expect from the pictures, plus little extra touches of luxury. There’s even a French press and kettle, in addition to k-cups. Thanks, Katy, for a memorably excellent stay. We really do hope to return.

We had such a pleasant stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, always quick to respond and helpful with local tips.

Great host. Very reaponsive. Place was great, right accross from pool and a short walk to beach access, beachgouse kitchen, a market and ice cream shop. Market opens early and stays open realtively late. block and a half approximately from a walking path on Lagoon dr. Would reccomend to friends/family. On the west end kinda quiter than further down which was nice.

We had a wonderful time! The home had everything we needed in terms of kitchen and linens. The home was beautiful and perfectly situated right on the beach. The only real cons or recommendations I would add are to put a gate on top of the stairs on the back deck. We have a 1 and 3 year old and had to pay constant attention to them when out on the back deck. Also we had to go buy our own toilet paper as there was only one roll per bathroom that we could find; not a big deal, just would have been nice to know from the start. Also, if you plan on going to town for entertainment or groceries, just know, you’ll be at least a 30-45 minute drive from major attractions or stores. Overall though, it was a wonderful and peaceful place to stay.

Beautiful condo. Teresa was very responsive and helpful. We had some confusion at check in and she was immediately available and calling to get it worked out. Very clean condo! We enjoyed the walking path and the view of the bay. The walking path is directly behind the condo and leads to the beach- it’s about a quarter mile walk to the beach. We enjoyed watching the birds from the deck! The pool was nice, always busy! Overall the condo is beautiful just as pictured and described. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great AirBNB experience. The unit was very nice, had designated parking, and the host and co-hosts were very communicative. There was a little hiccup with parking at onset, but was quickly resolved - a small confusion due to some changes occurring at the property, but as soon as we messaged about it, we got a quick response and resolution. The space was petite, but more than adequate for a quick getaway, and we even had space to set up a fenced playpen for the dogs in the living area so that they didn’t have to be crated when we were away. The parking is very close to the door for easy packing and unpacking. The yard is fenced and separated from other renters, and has a little green space so the dogs had space of their own. Also, Dan was incredibly friendly, gave lots of recommendations, and even gave us some treats for our dogs. Beautiful Florida beaches are a short 15 minute (or less) drive and downtown is about a mile. Great experience.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! It was perfect and super equipped with everything you need for a long weekend at the beach. I loved that beach chairs and beach umbrellas were provided. The best part was the covered patio and nice sized back yard for my dog. She also loved it! The place is super cozy and makes you feel right at home. Will definitely book again if I am in the area!

Words cannot express how wonderful this house was! It is located in a great spot! With it being toward the end of a dead end road, there was little traffic. It was close enough to the beach to walk, but you also felt like you had a space all to yourself! My boys, 6 and 3, absolutely loved the pool! It was the perfect, relaxing getaway!

We had the best stay at YaMar. The cottage was stocked with all the things we would need for our stay (towels, toilet paper, cooking supplies, beach wagons, chairs and umbrellas, etc). We were very happy with the proximity to the beach that was directly across the street. The pool right down from the house was a huge hit with my kids. We also enjoyed watching the sunset on the dock and swinging on the swings. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a short drive. The host was a great communicator and extremely accommodating. We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing host, amazing stay. Our family of four and dog had everything we needed. House was beautiful and clean, easy access to beach, neighborhood was great. Awesome to have beach equipment on hand. Host was proactive with clear communication, super easy check-in and out. 5 stars.

We had a blast and this location was perfect. Great waterfront location with a great restaurant on property. The house was very clean and perfect. Absolutely no issues and will be booking this house for our trip next year

Price was perfectly in line with the cabin. Had a great time thought was well worth the value for our money. If they can improve on anything, it would be the sleeping layout as the bunkbeds for the children are on the lower level with the bedrooms for the adults are upstairs. We had a little kids so we had a little kids stay in the bedroom with mom and dad instead of the lower bunk beds.

Our family loved staying here. Beautiful, spacious, and clean. It looks small on the outside but once you walk in, it is roomy and comforting. Had all of the amenities one would hope to have when staying in an Air BnB. Hosts were friendly and communicative! It was great to have the community pools when you wanted to be in the water but not go to the beach. The "main" town of Gulf Shores and some of the other beaches are about a 20-30 minute drive away so not far. We loved staying here, it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. A few restaurants and convenience store close by.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage, everything that is posted is accurate to include images. We have been coming to Pensacola Florida for years and usually stayed at the hotels so this was the first experience we had using Airbnb and due to Ella’s hospitality we will continue to use Airbnb when we travel. Ella was very responsive when I had questions. As new empty nesters our 2 dogs are like our children and it was amazing to bring them with us to share this experience. This couldn’t have happened without the opportunity Ella provided us to bring our pets. All in all this was an amazing experience, I would highly recommend the Mermaid Cottage and Ella if you are looking for the opportunity to enjoy Pensacola Beach.

We absolutely loved this sweet farm home! So peaceful and quiet but still close to all the beaches. Exactly what we needed!!

Quiet and very relaxing. Dolphins out frolicking everyday and sunsets were beautiful! House has everything you need. Bring insect repellents as they could be quite brutal at times at least while we were there. We will be back.

We've been staying in the immediate area for years and have always had our eye on the Sunrise Cottage, we were lucky that it was available this year. Great location for first timers since it's near everything to see/do in the area. For people like us it was easy to just hang out at the cottage and regenerate. It's close to everything but in an "island of tranquility" away from the mega-tourist areas. We will stay again.

We had seven adults in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Amenities were great! Enjoyed the pickleball court being within walking distance. Lisa was always immediately responsive to any questions we had. We will be back again! Thank you!

The location was perfect with great view of the bay and an area to walk right out and put in your kayak. Little Dolphin Island was visible from the shore. We enjoyed kayaking over to the little island. We also enjoyed walks in the bird sanctuary’s, concerts and of course beach. The house had nice accommodations for our stay. The deck and patio below are both nice. We enjoyed playing pool on the pool table. It was also enjoyable to watch the squirrels and birds from the deck

We loved the access to the beach and the Naval Air Museum. Good food in the area especially the Shrimp Basket on Gulf Beach off of Hwy 292 going toward Alabama, excellent fired shrimp. This location is easy to find and really quiet and well maintained.

Wonderful host. Always responded very fast. Absolutely gorgeous view and so peaceful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would 100% book again
