Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Guimaras Island

The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

Paul is very resposnsive to all our questions and even have a lot of suggestions. if you are looking for a private place to get along with the nature and wake up with wonderful mornings of sea view, this is a place to go. It was one of the best Arbnb homes that I stayed. The owners did a really great job about maintaining there house clean and tidy. Huge living space and dining area. All the rooms have AC. If I go back to iloilo again, i would definitely book again in there house. PS thank you for the mineral water!

Highly Recommended! Very accessible to Dumanggas Port and Public Market hihihi. Malinis din ang place and has complete set of appliances and other stuff you need to have a comfortable stay. No wonder Lara Mae and her family belonged to the category of superhosts. They took great care of us and our concerns. I initially booked another airbnb, but due to poor communications, I cancelled it and found Lara’s place. She was responsive from start to finish. Her place was also homey and very accessible to Megaworld and Festive Walk. It has everything you need - from water to toiletries and even towels! We will definitely return and book her place again. The experience was beautiful. ❤️

Stayed here from June 11-15, 2025 HONEST REVIEW: (hindi sponsored) Ang dali kausap ng host especially unusual time ang check in and out namin. James is very accommodating and even help us in our luggage when we checked in at 1am (it's raining and he carried our luggage all the way to our room). Ang ganda ng design and ng mismong room. Very safe ang rooms dahil sa lock na may pin code. Centralized ang air-condition and ang lamig. Pag nakulangan ka sa lamig, may malaking ceiling fan pa (kasing laki ng elesi ng helicopter, legit to). Strong internet, hot/cold shower and free laundry (sa baba). Complete accessories na from bathroom, kitchen (may built in mineral water faucet) to bed room (big mattress with 4 pillows). Very spacious and maliwanag. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for letting us have a great stay! Will definitely comeback and we RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Second time staying at this beautiful house. It makes a great three day weekend break from Manila. Beach is gorgeous and house has everything you need. We’ll be back!

Had an amazing 3days 2nights stay at Lafayette! The unit was clean and comfy, and the highlight was definitely the pool it was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Super convenient location too, close to everything. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. One of the things I appreciated most was the setup of the room—it had two beds, which was perfect for my needs and added to the convenience of the stay. The location is excellent. It’s right in the center of the city, close to many popular attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transportation. It made exploring the area super easy and enjoyable. The host was also very kind and welcoming. They were responsive to any questions I had and made sure everything was taken care of. Their hospitality really added to the positive experience. It is always great when you get a host that goes out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Chiechie was quick to respond to the issues faced. Despite facing some initial problems at the unit (plumbing) and lack of amenities (soap/shampoo), the host was quick the try and rectify the issue with maintenance. Always reassuring to have a host like this when you’re travelling for work/leisure.

The location of the BnB is nice as there were so many walkable places, and I could either commute or bike to and from the condo. The view from the balcony during sunset is great and relaxing. Thank you so much for accommodating my stay and I will likely book here in my next trip to Iloilo.

The room is well prepared and it is clean and comfy.

The condo is in a very convenient location. Shops and restaurant are just a 3 Minute walk away. There is a Jeepney going to Festive Mall and other Jeepney routes near by. All of the security and managers are super friendly. Water refilling station and laundry are just one building away. Celina is very friendly and will do her best to make you feel at home. I have to say, that I was surprised, that I rarely had to use the AC (I mostly only had to use the electric fan), even though I stayed during one of the hottest months. One minor inconvenience I had were some noisy neighbors, but Celina went out of her way to do everything she could. I just got very unlucky, but the security was always there to help me out.

The place is very convenient if you have events in ICC. The owner is very responsive and accommodating to our requests. I specifically like the height of the bed and the mattress is really good. I also love the scent of the room it's clean and fresh. Thank you! 😁
