Beachfront vacation rentals in Guayama

I don't use the term "breathtaking" as a rule, but I literally gasped when I saw (and heard) the pounding surf at the edge of the property. The view of the coastline, including the lighthouse, was glorious. The house was everything you could ask for and more, including a well-furnished kitchen. The only glitch was that the Google map pin didn't work, and we drove right by the house. But we texted the caretaker who responded immediately and drove to meet us and led us right to the spot. She could NOT have been more helpful, gracious, and accommodating. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and made friends with the local cats, dogs, and chickens. We had a memorable 2 nights. Wish it could have more.

Abbey was a truly wonderful host, responsive, kind, and attentive from start to finish. The home itself was absolutely beautiful, spacious, pristine, and immaculately clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location within Palmas del Mar was perfect, set in a gorgeous, private, gated community that felt both secure and serene. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-maintained and welcoming everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb experience. Highly recommend!

The little house. It is a very comfortable place for two adults and one or two small children. The house has all your necessities, we cooked several days and grilled outside; was very enjoyable. The backyard view is unforgettable, very early in the morning the water is calm, there is easy access to the water for the rental kayaks that the house had, was all unforgettable moments. Nearby restaurants and coffeehouse are excellent Food and very tasty snacks, that you can walk to. We went in mango season and they are everywhere and they’re so close to the ground that you can pick them or pick the newest fall from the trees, they’re very tasty. We thank you Michel and we surely will return .

Beautiful location on the water. Spacious! If you’re a night sky watcher, it’s good viewing on a clear night. As stated very responsive host. I would definitely come back.

What an amazing place! The pictures honestly don’t do it justice. We loved it all. The neighborhood has so many gems. A word to the wise, if you think another beach is just a short drive away, be warned, the mountains to get there can be steep. But no one is in a rush and the result is usually well worth some white knuckles. You can’t go wrong staying here. It’s magical.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Palmas del Mar. The home was not only lovely and well-maintained, but it also made our entire family feel right at home. One of the highlights was the stunning view—we were able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset with the ocean right in sight. It was truly peaceful and relaxing. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a special getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay. Jean was incredibly responsive and very easy to work with. The space was perfect for us and our three kids. The pool was closed our first two days, but Jean reimbursed us for a pass to the Wyndham pool. Location is great, steps away from the beach. Highly recommend a golf cart to navigate the wider Palmas Del Mar. Loved the extra touch of the turtle food Jean had - definitely check out the turtle pond!

This was my favorite Airbnb out of the 5 places we visited during our 8-day stay in Puerto Rico. Beautiful unit with lots of amenities and a great pool as well as easy beach access to a beautiful beach. I had never been in Humacao and that was also a wonderful surprise to see how beautiful it is there. Would definitely stay again. Nicole was super accommodating and communicative. Thank you.

Al llegar al lugar, el guardia qué nos recibió fue muy amable y muy simpático, ya desde ahí supe qué todo saldría bien. Xavier was an amazing host and the property was perfect for our vacation. Our family of four fit very comfortably and the short walk to the beach and pool were perfect. The unit was clean, fully stocked, and exactly as advertised. We appreciated the many suggestions for local food and things to do. Palmas del Mar offers a lot of fun with great eating spots, places to walk, a spot to feed the turtles, and so much more. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around, our teens loved this. We would love to stay here again if we make it back to PR!

We booked our stay at Villa Astanda because my husband was playing at Yabucoa’s “Encuentro Metalero del Este”. We did not want to drive back home too late at night. We absolutely loved staying at Villa Astanda, I would book again in a heartbeat. Comfortable, clean, beautiful decoration, beutiful views of the nature and sea from everyroom. I didnt even care that the bedroom shades werent blackouts. It was actually nice to wakeup feeling the light and having the views. Balcony perfect for a morning coffee and having worship time for God. 2 bathrooms, which is a must, master bedroom with ensuite, I think me and my hubs won’t have it other way from now on. Peaceful, quiet surroundings. Didn’t care much for the pool, you can park near it if you are interested, that way you won’t have to hike the steep street back to the apartment (like my kids did)! Full kitchen, no microwave, we didn’t mind, they have an awesome Ninja airfryer. Loved it! Would book again!

Jay and Ashley are great hosts and communicated frequently with us. Jay immediately helped with some things upon our arrival and we really appreciated that. The location is wonderful. Palmas Del Mar is a safe and beautiful place to stay with your family and you will never get tired of the direct beach view out of the windows.

We had a wonderful visit to Humacao! This Airbnb was perfect for us. It met all of our expectations and needs. We came for a golfing vacation and got to explore the island a bit to enjoy some more affordable courses. But everyday we came home to our cozy slice of paradise - a dip in the pool and a quiet evening on the patio. Also, Magda was super communicative and helpful. 10/10 - would recommend!

We stayed on a boat!! different than our usual stays, and fun! it was just big enough for two people. The dock was not busy, a nice restaurant and bar right there, and several options within walking distance. Alex was very helpful with clear instructions from getting there to keeping the water level just right. The boat is nicely decorated, just know that on a boat, it's tight quarters (which just adds to the fun!) Having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the middle deck was just the best. thank you Alex for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay! Nilda and her family were so warm and welcoming—we even got to do karaoke with them, which made us feel right at home. The location is amazing, right in front of the beach, with ocean views from the room. There are a few restaurants nearby, but having a car is ideal for exploring beautiful beaches and mountains just 5–20 minutes away. We stayed in Room 6, which was clean, well-organized, and beautifully decorated. A few notes for future guests: the room is cozy and worked well for our short stay, but it might feel a bit tight for larger guests. Also, the bed has a soft padded top, which we found comfortable, though those who prefer a firmer mattress might want to keep that in mind. Despite a rainy forecast, we had plenty of sunshine and even got a nice tan. Overall, a beautiful stay in a charming location with truly lovely hosts. Highly recommended!

Marissa is quick to respond to any of your doubts or questions you may have. This is my first Airbnb experience and Marissa made me feel at ease with how the check-in process work and where to park. I am extremely grateful for Marissa’s hospitality and look forward to repeating my stay in the near future.

Ocean Pearl did not disappoint! Both the host and property were amazing and exceeded expectation throughout the duration of our trip. We were a party of nine and the house more than accommodated our needs. The house is very clean and stocked with everything needed to "feel at home". The property grounds were incredible with so many beautiful plants, fruit trees, coqui and other wildlife. We really enjoyed the luxury of having a full outdoor kitchen and covered sitting area, we used both daily which allowed us to spend time together while enjoying the wonderful sights and sounds outdoors. Ocean Pearl is a 10 out of 10! We cant thank our host enough for allowing us the pleasure of staying at this beautiful tropical paradise.

This was definitely a great place! He was súper responsive and helpful. The neighborhood and nearby beach access is dreamy! Mind you, we stayed during weekdays and it was always empty . Only advice would be to add to the listing anything that requires an additional payment to be available in the house (access to BBQ Grill). Price is right and the property is very nice. This is a timing issue (April 2024 stay) and out of his hands, but they are building similar properties next door so that may mess up the view temporarily and construction noises during the day. I would definitely consider staying there again.
