Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Guatemala

This Airbnb is what Airbnb was supposed to be 10 years ago. It’s not just another property from a manager that you never see. Jean was very warm welcoming and welcomed us herself on our arrival. She was very proactive by giving us some tips from what to do, where to go or eat. She answered really quickly and helped us organized some massage sessions. The property is as described. The heated pool, the private beach and dock. Be aware that there are a lot of steps in the property and that arriving there from San Marcos may be a little difficult because of the road. But in my opinion those aren’t a problem after you see how beautiful it is there. I hope I can return one day

We had a great time in Guatemala! The airbnb was great! It had everything we needed. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Benjamin was a huge help and very responsive. The location was difficult to find on our way there from the airport but thats only because we chose to drive and we're not familiar with the Guatemala roads. Driving around was definitely the challenge due to how long it takes to get to the main cities but we got used to it and primarily stayed in the local beach area. You have the ability to book ATVs, horse ride, boat tour, surf boards etc. We would definitely try to visit again in the future. Thank you Nestor!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

This home was incredible! Not only is the location fantastic - private, right on the lake, easy to drive to, walkable to San Marcos - but it is decorated, furnished and staffed to feel like a luxury getaway. I would recommend taking the staff up on the option to have a chef and massage therapist come during your stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we look forward to returning.

Albert, and his local friend Humberto, have been some of the best hosts in my experiences on AirBnB. Very accommodating, easy and quick to reach, and provides thorough recommendations and instructions getting to/from/around Lake Atitlán. The property itself is situated in a very private, yet reachable part of the lake. We had no issues getting boat transport to/from the property. Additionally, it's a short trek to the local town where you can find restaurants and family owned local "tiendas" selling some groceries. Outside the house, it is surrounded with plants of all kinds and the views of the lake is breathtaking. Inside the house, it is very cozy, open, and has all the amenities. Wifi was fast and phone signal was strong. If I were to visit again, without a doubt I'd stay back at Albert's casa principal.

La casa es preciosa, es justo lo que describen, Daniel un excelente host. Los cuartos son muy espaciosos y las camas son deliciosas. La piscina apta para todas las edades, eso me encanto porque podíamos estar desde el mas chiquito hasta el mas grande en la piscina. También algo que me gusto es que el comedor y la cocina tienen aire acondicionado, que hace que cocinar sea agradable. Las personas que ayudan en la casa - Zully, Fabricio y Marlene fueron una gran ayuda, están siempre a disposición y hacen excelente trabajo.

Mi estadía fue corta. Pero muy bonito todo muy organizado,y Andrea una persona estupenda .Lo recomiendo

Isidro was very responsive about any issues that arose as well as offering transportation advice. The place was very nicely furnished and comfortable. They had a fan and a big sliding door to the balcony for fresh air. I also appreciated the easy check-in and felt very safe in the building and neighborhood with a security guard. Would recommend for staying in Zona 1

Jenny and Clemens’s place is truly magical and an ideal spot for first-timers visiting Lake Atitlán. We instantly fell in love with the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere during our two-day stay. From the start, Jenny and Clemens were incredibly welcoming and responsive. They helped us arrange roundtrip shuttle service from Antigua and even organized a private lancha to reach their home, making everything so easy. Thanks to their great location, we could walk to nearby spots like Casa del Mundo, Isla Verde, and even take a cooking class in Santa Cruz. Getting around by public lanchas were also simple. Just flag one down at the dock, and the drivers know exactly where to drop you off on your return.

Está ubicado en muy buena zona, restaurantes, plazas y tiendas cerca. Las instrucciones son muy claras y son entregadas a tiempo, sólo hay que leer con criterio. Es una excelente opción si quieres salir a caminar cerca. Para dos personas es suficiente.

I loved the fully equipped kitchen, the apartment was bigger than expected. The only issue is the noise, you can hear from other apartments or outside. But its totally worth it, it was great!
