We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. The patio was nice to enjoy too with great views all around. We had a car with us and we're able to park it across the street in an off street parking space. Julio was kind to give us a quick talk about the region and a taste of his delicious port wine.

A really lovely house in a really lovely location. The house is beautifully designed and spacious. The views from the terrace over the vineyards and over the valley are stunning.

We had an excellent time and had the exact experience we wanted. We truly appreciated the solitude of the property. Freya and Steven are great hosts, keen to engage and ensure we are happy. Their suggestions for local hikes and restaurants were spot on!

The accommodation is located in a quiet village in the middle of the upper Douro vineyard and surrounded by vineyards. The only service available in the village is a small association under the Parish Council, which operates part-time (which also harms the privacy of the pool). Despite this there is sales of walking bread. The nearest large commercial areas are in Régua, about 15 minutes away by car. The Hosts were very friendly and provided all the necessary clarifications. Accommodation is great for a family break.

Great stay (apart from the weather). The hosts as well as Mrs. Isaura did everything to make the stay enjoyable and family-friendly. A big thank you to them and we will be delighted to return. For a first experience we are thrilled.

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Wonderful beds and linen. Pool was very well kept and great for a refreshing dip. Hosts were very friendly and had great recomendations. The view across the valley was outstanding. Short drive to Pinhao. The owners offered us their own wine and port which was delicious.

We had a lovely stay at Dini's Quintiha, a nice and quiet place with a beautiful view over the rural and natural environment from the terrace. The apartment was very well maintained, nicely decorated and adequately equiped. A place to come back to!

We had a very relaxing time at João’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and calm, the apartment was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Wonderful, quiet house both incredible views of the Douro.

We loved it here! Rosa and Joao made us feel like family. Rosa is incredibly knowledgeable of the Village and the surrounding areas. The animals are friendly, you can walk through the areas without fear. The goats, Lemon (the donkey), Boss the puppy and so much more. Rosa should be the Mayor, she knows everyone and her friendly personality makes the entire Village glow. We were introduced to all the friendly people of the Aldeia Fuinhas. Rosa shared her knowledge of the cheese making process, I have new cheese making skills. The hostess with the mostest provided good wine, tasty orange cake, plenty of good herbal teas, the garden is bright and well maintained. I had a refreshing dip in the super clean pool on a hot day. Casa da Aldeia is a magical place for all ages to enjoy the surroundings and the Animals. You can find Joao or their friendly neighbor Joaquin milking the goats twice daily. You will love to see this fresh milk production; say cheese. We will see you again Rosa & Joao

Jeffrey, we can't describe it. It was impeccable. The care of having up to 7 chairs the table, the clean and smelling bed, the wonderful structure and the welcome coffee was special. This place is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind, and be in the beauty of a working farm, but close to the park if you feel like getting out and about. I had difficulty with the directions getting there because I am unused to driving through very thin cobblestone roads because in America, we do not have that, and Rui was completely responsive and extraordinarily helpful every step of the way . When I got to the place, I just felt like it was magical and it was a beautiful and perfect location and I wish I would’ve stayed for a week . I did venture out and see lots of gorgeous highways but coming back to this tiny home just felt like coming back home. The history of the farm is so incredible and the place is just exquisitely done.
