This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in and we have travelled all over the world. The house is amazing the pool area fantastic and the surroundings beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed our week at this Grun-Bordas cottage. The house is very nice, in a large and pretty private garden that allows you to be really quiet! Perfectly well-equipped, we did not miss anything! The hosts are very welcoming, gave us a good briefing on the things to do and nice touches were waiting for us when we arrived. We came with our little baby, and Chantal had us set up a cot and a changing table with a bathtub. The next time we visit the area, we'll be back with pleasure!

The little cottage

I stayed in this lovely wooden cabin for a week, and it was exactly what I needed. The space is beautifully styled with a clear eye for detail. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality essentials, which I really appreciated, as I’d chosen this cabin to work while travelling. I spent long hours at my laptop, but was able to go for forest walks from the cabin. I loved sitting in the little garden to work on sunny days, which was peaceful although occasionally the calm was interrupted by nearby garden work. and on one rainy day, I sat by the wood burner in the kitchen which felt cozy. The shower has great water pressure. There were beautiful candles placed throughout, which added to the aesthetic, though I was advised not to light them due to the wooden structure—very understandable, but perhaps best not to display them if they can’t be used. All in all, I felt safe, held, and was able to get some important things done in this sweet little space. Thank you for everything.

This was probably our best airbnb till date. Literally everything was lovely: the check in, the mansion, the quietness, the rooms and bedding, the soap and towels, even the (distant) neighbour. It is a large mansion with lots of land, yet has zero pretentious allure. We used it for family reunion and pleased literally all visitors …

We were made very welcome by Christelle and her Mum, who was on site if we had any queries. We had everything we needed. The setting is beautiful but remote from any facilities, which suits us admirably.
