You'll make lots of new memories in this unique family-friendly place. The historic log cabin is set in large fenced grounds with its own volleyball court, sunken trampoline, seating area with fire pit, grill and smokehouse. It offers peace and privacy in the middle of the Sumava woodland. The charming Kramata lake is located near the complex - an ideal place for swimming. In winter you can go cross-country skiing directly from the lodge. The ski slopes are only a few minutes away by car.

At the Bavarian Forest National Park

Relax after an active day in the national park with the whole family in this rustic and cozy place to stay on the edge of the forest. Throughout the year, the nature of the Bavarian Forest invites you to explore it. Hiking trails are right at your doorstep. Extended tours are just as possible as Nordic walking, snowshoeing in winter, or easy walks. Look for mushrooms in the fall and enjoy the snow in the winter. Cross-country ski trails are on site when there is sufficient snow.

Forest house in nature

Welcome to the Waldlerhaus in the Bavarian Forest. The house is a wooden log house from about 1810, which stands in a large garden with many fruit trees. We rent the first floor, whereby otherwise no other parties live in the house. There is a bedroom with two beds, and a bunk bed. The second room has a bed and TV. There is a kitchen-living room and a bathroom. In the area there are very nice small lakes, and the Bavarian Forest Nature Park as well as the city of Passau.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with observation tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can follow a stream to the peaks. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.

The cabin was planned over years of loving work and built using regional craftsmanship. Our vacation cabin offers simple relaxation for 2 people with a double bed. On request there is space for a folding bed or crib. The fully equipped kitchen includes crockery, cutlery, pots, hob and fridge. A WC is available, the shower is in the adjoining house. Additional: TV/SAT, dining area and terrace. Please note: The hut is unheated and not air-conditioned, therefore weather-dependent booking.
