Kanalbyen is located by the sea on Odderøya, centrally located in Kristiansand, close to Kilden and Fiskebrygga. 5 min away from city center. In the area around Odderøya, there are fantastic rocks that are suitable for sunbathing, swimming and fishing. In the bay of Bendik you have lawns and sandy beaches. The whole island is a jogging paradise. Canal city pearls: Byfjorden, the beautiful forest terrain of Odderøya and the canal in the middle.

Fantastic stay on Flekkerøy! The home was modern, new and very well equipped with a hot tub as an extra luxury. The host was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to any questions. A perfect combination of comfort, nature and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Is the second year we are here and are always nice to come here, the place meets expectations. The best thing about and stay here is that it is walking distance to the city center, a short drive to the zoo and groceries shops close by. A great playground nearby that the kids appreciated. Lars is a nice host who is friendly and quick with and answers any questions. Will be quick to sort out if anything is crazy. here we would love to come again 😀

We very much regretted having to leave after two days and would have loved to have stayed a few days longer. Merethe & Tor are very dedicated hosts and provided us with a nice map as well as sweets and coffee.

A quiet and authentic place to stay surrounded by pastures and fields. This is the former useful area of a farmhouse. A refuge for guests has been created here imaginatively and creatively. There is everything you need and plenty of space. We had a freshly made and very comfortable bed waiting for us. We slept wonderfully and were able to continue the trip well rested. The property is also suitable for a longer stay. We will be happy to come back sometime.

Tip-top, top, thumbs up! Great new house with everything you might need. Perfect for families with children with access to toys, trampoline and the possibility of other equipment such as a high chair, etc. if desired. Playgrounds, nice hiking areas and nearby beaches. Great location right between the city center and Dyreparken (about 15 min each direction). Short drive to grocery stores and pharmacy. Cozy host who provided good information ahead of time and responded quickly to questions. There were 10 of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of room. We gladly came back. :)

An absolutely amazing apartment that exceeded all expectations! Modern, spacious and elegantly decorated, with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is fully equipped, bed is incredibly comfortable! The location is perfect – quiet area, but at the same time short distance to the city center. The host is very welcoming and makes sure everything is top notch. This place is a gem and I highly recommend it!
