Vacation rentals with a patio in Grey Lynn

I stayed at this Airbnb for 4 days and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is in a peaceful location with a beautiful view of the school play ground from the living room balcony. It was so relaxing to wake up to that view every day. The place was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, which made everything super convenient. The host was friendly and responsive. The house was exactly as described—every detail in the listing was 100% accurate. This is the best Airbnb location I have stayed. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Small place (would only recommend for two people) but in a great location and has everything you need! Very easy to walk around town from the location. Place was clean and hosts were very communicative!

Great location in Viaduct Harbour. Our hosts met us to help with check in. The studio has a partition between the bed and seating area which helps make the space feel more like a small 1 bed apartment. The building has a gym and pool which was useful in bad weather. A highlight was eating at the nearby Auckland Fish Market.

This apartment is a great place to stay for a couple. Close to the shops and restaurants of Newmarket. it's handy having a car park provided. Highly recommended.

Henry’s place was spectacular, we have just spent a week there and didn’t want to leave. It was beautifully presented with interesting art & furnishings. The beds were really comfortable & the linen luxurious. The kitchen & bathroom were modern and very well equipped & the outdoor area, which flows seamlessly from the living area, is special & very private. Henry was a great host, very helpful & responsive to any queries we had. I cannot recommend Henry & his lovely home highly enough, it’s 6 ⭐️ from me.

Beautiful apartment, seamless check in and Out. Location was perfect for our stay, we were only 10min from Spark Arena and Sylvia park (traffic dependency). We liked scootered to most places as it was local to cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself was immaculate, clean and more than what we expected. Would definitely stay again!

Our family had a wonderful stay over two weeks. Everything was great and the location was close to the eatery and the hospital. The instructions were easy to follow for check in and check out. We will definitely stay again.

A stunning property right on the waterfront with amazing views and direct access to the water. Francesca was very responsive, quickly responding to a couple of minor requests and was very easy to deal with, arranging a cot and kindly left us welcome treats. A perfect getaway on the beachfront. Thanks again for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ponsonby, the place was clean and very nicely updated and perfectly spacious for our two families. The location is just a short walk to the shops and eateries on the main street and was very quiet which was great for a good nights sleep. The property has 3 levels with rooms on each so it was a little bit challenging for the young kids and there were lots of decorative artefacts/homewares which was aesthetically very nice but again hard to manage with the kids. I look forward to staying again once the kids are a bit older.

Absolutely beautiful house, we had a great stay at Fiona's place! It's a great location too, it was lovely being able to walk down to the beach. Everything is as listed and looks like the photos, would definitely recommend to other guests.

This home is perfectly sized for a couple. It is like staying in an art gallery, always something curious and wonderfully artistic to gaze at on all the walls. Then venture outside and it is further feast for the eyes.. gorgeous sky views from the deck, and plenty of space to walk in the back garden and enjoy all the beautiful plants. Rosetta & James provided snacks in the pantry and drinks and nibbles also in the fridge, and chocolates, such generous hosts who are super friendly. Thank you also for the late check out and responsive communication.

What a spot! This house is beautiful - open, airy, light and spacious, and the mid-century-modern styling was right up our alley. We made the most of the sunny weather in the sprawling gardens, and the cold plunge and sauna were such a luxury - it definitely felt like we were staying at a private retreat while still being close to everything. Katie and Dan were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had too, and ensured we had an easy and comfortable stay. Looking forward to staying again next time we're in Auckland.

Great weekend escape with pool and indoor outdoor flow to enjoy the sunshine and chill space later with the easy outdoor gas fire. Modern kitchen made for easy self catering but also close and walkable to great restaurants and coffee spots. Having an ensuite for each bedroom always a win. Comfortable and ample space for all.

We had a great stay in this beautiful small home. Nice and handy to the absolutely delicious Little Sicily restaurant in Onehunga, and to Cornwall Park parkrun and to the conference in Ellerslie that we were attending. Really handy having a washing machine and drier available too. We loved the beautiful attention to detail in this house.

We had a great stay in this lovely accommodation. Perfect for a couple. It was very quiet despite being off a main road and it was fantastic having the bus into the city right outside the door. John’s apartment is not a great apartment. No, it’s a VERY great apartment, probably the best I have ever rented in Auckland. Ideally located, very well furnished, full of light, it ticks all the boxes.

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Thank you for a lovely stay Lilly. Lillys place is lovely, it was walking distance to Ponsenby shops and central to all the areas we wanted to visit. Lilly had a cot set up for our daughter when we arrived and was very welcoming. She left us to it after showing us how to get into the apartment. The house spacious and clean and the house had everything that we needed. A beautiful home.

We had a great 3-day stay at Nick's place and would be happy to stay here again. The private balcony is clearly the star of the show with its garden, grill, jacuzzi ("spa pool" in Kiwi-speak), and Sky Tower view. The condo is in a great location (I recommend the Grey Lynn butcher shop to make best use of Nick's grill) while still being quiet & private. And Nick himself is easily among the best Airbnb hosts I've interacted with –– he went above & beyond to make sure that check in & check out were at times that made sense for us, he's got a great sense of humor ("humour" in Kiwi-speak), and generally speaking he seemed to genuinely care that we had a fun experience.

This was our second time staying at Jacqui’s place and it won’t be the last. Absolutely love this place. Location is perfect with so many restaurants, cafes, shops within walking distance. The place is set up beautifully, had everything we needed. Jacqui was so accommodating to our booking enquiry and she is very responsive. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks again Jacqui

It was a spacious and pleasant place to stay. There’s a very popular café on the ground floor, which was a big plus. The host always responded quickly, whether it was early in the morning or late at night, and genuinely cared about whether I was comfortable. I’d love to stay here again the next time I visit Auckland!
