Our stay at Lynne & Buddy's June 5th-8th was lovely, The house was Cosy and comfortable ( matched the descriptions) the kitchen was equipped well ,the pool was perfect, There was extras in the shed, pool umbrellas, floats, fire pit and Bbq equipment there to use aswell. We loved the porch it was lovely all times of the day especially first thing in the morning with our Tea and coffee . The beds where comfortable, house was clean and the whole family including 3 teenage girls where happy with our stay cation 😊 Lynne was great to communicate with she offered a pontoon boat ride with them ,unfortunately it didn't work at our end with the rainy weather and taking time away from the pool. Very pleased all round and recommend for sure . It was close to west Virginia we went out to the lost world caverns . close by too Humpback cover Bridge and Falling Springs Fall great views. the town o

We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the pool and lake, soaking in the hot tub and sweating in the sauna. We enjoyed long hikes with a puppy and challenging bike rides. The Kayaking was awesome with or without a fishing pole. We cooked dinner every evening at the lake kitchen as the sun was setting and played board games until midnight. It was an awesome vacation! Thank you so much Rick, and caretakers, Mark and Tyler, for all of your hard work and excellent communication. You provided everything we needed to enjoy a secluded, peaceful vacation, and we are looking forward to returning to Dawson Lake in August.

First night electric went out and Felicia was very Responsive! Her husband came right out and hooked up to a generator! Thankfully electric wasn’t out long! Had a great stay! Place was very clean!

This was such a perfect, peaceful spot! We were in for the Jackson Scenic River Trail Marathon and couldn’t have stayed at a better place. The trail was a short drive away, so it was very convenient. The cabin had a relaxing patio, and we enjoyed the scenery outside under the roof while it rained. Gorgeous! Thanks for having us!

A home away from home. Bryan went out of his way to make every aspect of our stay comfortable. It was so incredibly peaceful & relaxing. Anytime I had any questions Bryan was quick to respond. I cannot recommend it enough! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Pam and Gary are wonderful hosts.. they have a cute little cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. we were able to go to the Omni homestead natural springs and other activities in the area.

Lovely stay. Beautiful surroundings. We loved the porch areas and the fire pit. There’s no dishwasher but we just got paper plates later on. There’s a ton of plates, mugs, appliances, silverware and such. There was also only seating for 4. This was pictured in the listing but important to note if you are coming with 6 people. 20 minutes from Canyon Rim Visitors Center which was amazing. Good amenities for a baby. Overall loved our stay and we would stay here again.

We loved the location and proximity to what we wanted to explore. The cabin itself is great! Very secluded and well cared for. The deck is especially nice, but it rained nearly the entire time we were there, so not a lot of coverage. We loved the fire pit! The house was nice and as described, however, it's very very noisy, which we did read in reviews after the fact. If you're looking for a quiet place to nap, sleep, etc. vs a base camp for hiking and entertaining, it's a challenge. Although the cabin is adorable, it's very very noisy / creaky. You hear every little movement, everywhere. We didn't use the bunk house. The cabin stayed cool and we had plenty of hot water (3 of us) at all times. They also supply plenty of linens & towels which is very nice. Our favorite thing was the deck. Very large and nice to hang out. The cabin is also very quiet (outside) with lots of nature sounds and beautiful magnolia trees all around. The hosts are both great and helpful.

We loved our stay! We wanted to be close to Summersville lake for kayaking and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The yard was an excellent size. We had a blast!

Jason was incredibly transparent, flexible, and friendly throughout our stay. He kept the place spotless and made sure we had all the information we needed. His communication was excellent, and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would absolutely recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay at Kristina’s place. The access to the lake is everything and all the NRG activities -climbing/rafting/hiking- are really closeby. The house was very comfortable and spacious, in very peaceful surroundings. Will be back!

Verna's home is a lovely stay! She has the place well-appointed - spacious, clean and with just enough of what is needed while being thoroughly comfortable for settling right in! The kitchen is well done with the most beautiful botanical dishes for use. However, the front porch is just the spot!! Nothing fancy needed here - those rockers are perfect for enjoying the shade, breeze, view, stars and each other's company. Our time here was wonderfully complimented by Verna being a capable and hospitable hostess. Staying here was a pleasure and we have good memories to travel on with. Thank you, Verna!

The house was stunning, and we really appreciated the privacy. The location was ideal—close to all the hikes we had planned. And best of all, Summersville Lake was just a short drive away!

Perfect sized house for two with cute decor and fun odds and ends. Perfectly quiet nights for stargazing if the clouds behave. Stayed for two nights, the bed was comfortable and clean the wifi worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots/pans/etc. I loved the scent of the hand soap in the bathroom 😄

Thanks for the stay! This house was perfect for our group, very spaceous with a large kitchen and family room and the location could not have been any better. Less than a 5 minute drive to the Summersville parking lot, so if you are planning on going to the lake then look no further. Would love to stay here again sometime!
