The Cozy Conway Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet along the Conway River. This relaxing getaway is about 1/4 mile off of rte 230. The cottage was an original one-room cabin with a centrally located wood stove/fireplace. It now boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, large windows and a patio/deck with river views. During the fall and winter months, you can see the sunset over the mountains of the National park. It’s a 20 min drive to the Shenandoah National Park entrance and 5 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyard.

Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate no more than one dog, with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).

The Conway House

Get away on the Conway, a place to recharge, relax and explore. Located just outside a back entrance to the Shenandoah national park. Walk, run, or bike these lightly traveled country roads to access the trail heads. This private cottage is the ideal location for visiting the Shenandoah national park, hiking, fishing, biking, wineries, and getting away to relax. This newly remodeled mountain retreat is updated with modern decor and all the essentials for an unforgettable mountain getaway.

Just 5 min away from Old Rag trailhead in Shenandoah National Park and merely minutes from wineries/breweries. Our guest house is close to White Oak Canyon, Skyline Drive, Three Blacksmiths, Washington, and Luray Caverns! Stargazer is the perfect place to get away from it all! The stillness and serenity of being nestled in a bird and wildlife sanctuary is so good for your soul. Watch the sunrise from a hanging basket chair at 2700 feet of elevation, or wait for moonrise and toast spectacular star views! Relax in the sauna after a day filled with hiking and an al fresco meal on the deck. Roast s’mores at the deck fire table or over the side yard fire pit. Cabin at Rabbit Hollow

Charming log cabin nestled in a glen by the Shenandoah National Park is an ideal retreat for a romantic get-a-way. The first floor contains a beautiful kitchen, dining area, full bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, and cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The second level holds the bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a half bathroom. There are two porches where guests can relax with their morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the wooded and mountain views.

Finks-Johnson House on Strother Run

The Finks-Johnson House on Strother Run is a renovated farmhouse built by the Finks Family @1900. We have 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, den, living room and front porch with swing and rockers!! Our property extends across the road, where there is a sitting area above Strother Run. The "sitting area" on Strother Run is shared with the "Little House," at the back of our property, which is rented as well.
