House vacation rentals in Grand Isle County

Matthew’s place was perfect for our family visiting for a graduation party! The house was spacious, clean, and close to everything we needed! Would definitely stay again if available when visiting our family again!

We enjoyed our stay at Mott house. From booking to check out everyone involved was very helpful. Pat and Dominic were very responsive to all of our questions. The home is decorated nicely and restored perfectly. We also enjoyed all of the amenities that apple island resort has to offer. We would love to return back for another stay!

A perfect few days and one of the best Airbnb's that I ever stayed in. The hot tub, as well as the fully stocked kitchen - the best; and the plunge pool was so refreshing. You really feel that you are floating on the water while sitting on the adirondack chairs overlooking the lake. Everything in this Airbnb was a 10++++++!!!! We will definitely be back. This mini vacation was prelude to a longer on Cape Cod, and it was very painful to leave. Thanks for a little piece of Heaven. Ange

I wish I could rate this home 6 stars. It is beautiful, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The two bedrooms are great and very comfortable, and they actually have anything you might need in terms of toiletries. Corey was super responsive and helpful, he quickly answered the few questions that I had. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a small getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our hosts’ childhood home. Instantly comfortable- we could feel the love this home has known. And our hosts were incredibly responsive to an emergency situation we experienced that became a moot point in minutes. Thank you again🙏 We hope to return next summer❣️

We really loved staying at Katie's home. She responded very quickly, and we were allowed to use everything in the house and garage. The house was beautiful and near the lake. It's a quiet place close to nature. The kids loved it.

Our stay was great! While we didn’t spend too much time at the house, the house was very welcoming so the time we did spend there made us feel right at home. Everything was clean and spotless and the host was attentive making sure we checked in alright. The sunset views are amazing overlooking Lake Champlain too!

We were in town for a hockey tournament and five people were staying here. There was plenty of room for all five us comfortably. Everyone had their own bedroom (three single people and one couple). There was a great view of the lake outside the front of the house. Everything from the doors to the light switches, refrigerator, and everything in between was labeled so you knew exactly how something worked (which was a huge plus...it took the guess work out of things). We definitely would stay again if in town.

This is a lovely, comfortable house, perfect for anyone--including families with young children--who want to enjoy peace and quiet, watch the sunset or look at the stars. There's even a nice office space for working. My regret is we were on Isle La Motte for a wedding and were too busy to enjoy it.

The Jewel of the Isle was Spectacular!!! It was above and beyond all of our expectations!!! It was spotlessly clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Six of us were there to attend my nephew’s wedding at Snow Farm and Vineyard conveniently located 8 miles away. The views of Lake Champlain are magnificent both inside and out. The grounds outside were just as beautiful. We were able to enjoy the fire pit and corn hole game as well as watch many ferry runs to and from NY. The house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home… would love to come back. Highly recommend!!

This is a treasure of a “family reunion” home and a privilege to be allowed to enjoy it. It is like going back in time to your grandparents’ home. Think gold dixie cup dispenser on the bathroom wall and the chrome covered Kleenex box built into the wall. Pictures of all of the kids and grandkids adorn the surfaces and walls. There is a memory wall of hand prints of children who have gone on to have children of their own. It is a very special place. You feel a warm hug when you walk into the door as you are welcomed to the family. Practical tips: If you are arriving in the dark, the house is the 6th one on the right after you turn onto the street. Each room has its own heater thermostat. We found 65 in the bathroom and 60 everywhere else was just right for us. Costco is 30 mins away near Burlington. We loved our 6 day stay for leaf season. October 10-14 was peak leaf season in 2024. We toured the country-side and Montreal too. Enjoy this home that has been enjoyed for 3 generations!

The house in North Hero was perfectly set up to roam about the house with a larger group. We didn't feel squished and were able to spread out. The house was very welcoming & homey feeling. Had so many various blankets for All of us to pick out our "own". We brought All our food in and enjoyed meals cooked in the well stocked kitchen (pots pans appliances dishes etc) & BBQ. The firepit dock area was where we spent our Much needed relaxation time. Fishing kayaking & paddleboarding was enjoyed with our own brought in equipment. This property is just a forced relaxation yet super homey feel. Thank you for making our vacay exactly what we were hoping for.

The house and beautiful expansive grounds were perfect for our family gathering celebrating a graduation in Burlington. The house was roomy, comfortable, and provided opportunities for group meals and movie watching. The property was stunning, and we enjoyed walking around, chatting at the pond, and playing pool in the barn. The nearby marts, restaurants, and farmstands offered everything we needed. It was a wonderful place to make memories.

Ilya was a gracious host and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The place was clean, in a great location, and access to the water was a huge plus. The tiny home is situated very close to another rental property (maybe 10 feet apart) and they share a lawn and driveway. Something to keep in mind in terms of privacy.

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for our family vacation.. our grandchildren named this the Ferry House.

We reached out to Jesse as we were moving to the area and needed a place to stay for a month while we worked to find permanent housing. The house was comfortable and relaxing in a beautiful setting which was perfect for us as we adjusted to the area! Jesse was more than accommodating with both check in and check out and was super responsive anytime I had a question. We are grateful to Jesse for his hospitality and definitely recommend the property to anyone who wants a cozy house on the lake to relax in during their stay!

fantastic host, super kind and friendly. was very responsive and helpful. the house is so cute, big fan of the cow bathroom and the little yellow bedroom they're absolutely cute. there are fun little fish signs too that kept us laughing every time wed find a new one. a 10/10 place to stay and only 8 minutes from the border so it made cute little day trips over into Canada really convenient and fun 😊. thank you so much for allowing the opportunity to stay, hope to come again 😁

We really enjoyed Zach's place for the view, the large yard and deck, for the tranquility and for its comfort and cleanliness. The kids had plenty of space to play and run. We were very lucky in getting very sunny and warm weather and coming back to a fresh climatized home to sleep was great. We were travelling with our dog and this place was also perfect for her as she discovered frogs and how to jump like them. Carry bay is a good anchorage and we had our small sailboat anchored not too far from the house. The house is very clean, the beds and beddings very comfortable, the kitchen is particularly well equiped with good pans and knifes, which is not common. Make sure to stop at Savage Garden, the small nearby organic farm where you can buy eggs and vegetables or enjoy their flatbreads on Friday evenings. Carole

Thanks Andy! Our stay allowed us to experience beautiful lake views and watching shooting stars at night especially on the deck. The water was enjoyable and thank you for the heads up on the water shoes they are definitely needed but wasn’t a problem. Thank you for opening up your home !

Our friend group and fur babies had an amazing time! We made use of the amazing dock and kayaks. The place was exactly as described and had a very homey feeling. The games and home essentials were great to have! Allison was easy and quick to respond and made our stay amazing. We will definitely come back!

We had such an amazing, relaxing, and fulfilling week here! First, there was plenty of space for all six of us, giving us both great spaces to gather for family games and socializing while also providing extra rooms and privacy to take remote work calls. The kitchen is large enough to have everyone cooking and preparing a meal, while also including those in the living room. Outside of the house you’ll find such a peaceful part of the lake, perfect for a fire on the beach or to relax in the hammock. If you prefer recreation, there is plenty to offer with kayaks, paddle boards, a swimming float, and a nearby public boat launch. The lane is quiet and excellent for scenic walks in the morning and evening, and those you may run into are always friendly. The location is close to attractions on grand isle, and Stephen gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, wineries, and more. We highly recommend this place for your next getaway, we would love to come back any time!

Perfect Perfect Perfect!! Our large contingent wanted to spend time together while on Grand Isle for a family wedding. We could not have found a more perfect spot than 29 West Shore. Large enough but also homey, we could gather together or spread out easily. The home seemed to hug us and/or expand as needed. A beautiful view and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy it. The kitchen is well equipped with open space across the counter to chat with folks at the table. I could go on and on, we certainly hope to return. Thank you Susan!!

Jeff and Suzanne were great hosts. Very responsive! The house was much nicer than described bedrooms were bigger. The best thing was that it had plenty of room for a family of 15 to be together. Eating cooking sleeping All good and comfortable. Only improvement would be less traffic on the road to the dock. This could not have been a better house for us. Love the new additions. Ken
