Seven Mile Beach with Soul

Reno and Agata were super supportive of our requests. Great location and very comfortable. The AC was refreshing after a day in the heat. They had all amenities to make a stay comfortable. The beach is steps from the place along with shopping stores and restaurants. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Ocean Club Oasis

Charmaine’s place was truly *perfect*! We had our own car and wanted to be able to explore the entire island, and the location could not have been more ideal for seeing everything plus very close to the airport. Everything was clean, well provisioned (we like to be able to cook for ourselves), and super comfortable. Charmaine was very communicative and the rum cake was so thoughtful! We will absolutely stay here again.

S4 BP | Steps to Beach | Car, Value, Service

AprilRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Pavilion! The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in easy with all the info I needed upfront. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to beaches, restaurants, a grocery store, and even a 24-hour Subway and ATM. While parking is available if you rent a car, I found everything so walkable and close to bus stops that I didn’t need one. WiFi was great and as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe coming and going.

We had an amazing staycation at Suladdas apartment, it had everything that we were looking for and it was situated in an exceptional location, beach front, restaurants near by, easy access to main road and grocery stores, and the most important thing very clean. We’ll definitely recommend it to families that are looking for a place to stay at Cayman Islands 🇰🇾. We’ll come back soon 🫶🏼

2 BR beach condo resort with pool and ocean views

EthanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Easy to get there and get in (it's a key code - no need to keep up with a key). Place is beautiful. Shower water does go from hot to cold a lot though. Great view from the very roomy balcony - pictures are accurate. Plenty of storage. High chair, and also some beach gear to use. They provide a great guide book. Good restaurants within walking distance, plus the pool bar/restaurant is good too. Cove is a 1-minute walk an has a breakwater, which allows for easy snorkeling. You can still see some good creatures (I saw a stingray). It's about a 10-minute beach walk south to a shipwreck directly off the coast (~30 feet), and the ship is partly above water - easy swim/snorkel, bring good water shoes (lots of craggy/sharp rocks). Not much for beachcombing, but there's a little. 15 minutes from West Bay, 45 minutes from Rum Point. All in all, a great place to stay. If we come back to Grand Cayman, we'll definitely to try get this place if it fits our schedule!

Kaibo Yacht Club Villas Ocean Front Apartment

LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We will definitely be back! Had such a great time. We loved the location. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I would not recommend staying here if you do not have a rental car. The apartment was amazing. It had all of the essentials we needed. Great set up. Ground floor unit that walks right out to the beach and pool. Kaibo is amazing. If you want to sit relax and enjoy the view this is the place. Boats are constantly coming in to the marina. It is beautiful. And dinner at Kaibo Restaurant next door was wonderful.

Paradise Beach House in South Sound, George Town

Kate and Nick’s place was a beautiful, amazing place to spend our week in Cayman. Peaceful and just outside of the busy Seven Mile area, a short drive to great restaurants and shops. Very accommodating, our flight was delayed a day and Kate & Nick were kind enough to let us stay an additional day. I look forward to our next trip and would love to stay here again.

Modern 1BR | Pool & BBQ | Steps to 7 Mile Beach

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time at Sunstays condo! The condo is very clean and quiet. It was in a great location on 7 mile beach. The beach is so close. Just cross the street and walk down a path to paradise! The beach wasn't crowded at all when we were there in May. Gorgeous water and so relaxing! I loved having some restaurants downstairs and the mini mart. We ate at Island Naturals a few times. Great fresh and healthy food. Loved the snapper tacos! The grounds are very lush with beautiful plants and flowers. My daughter and I felt very safe at the Grove and in the Caymans in general. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sunstays for a great week!

This home is as beautiful as it looks. Very clean and truly has everything you will need. There are some great snorkeling spots across from the house in the beach access. Host went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and provided some great local recommendations. Every time we had a question he immediately responded or contacted the property management for assistance. You will need a rental car at this location to get around. We will definitely stay at this home again if we return to the island.

1 Bedroom Apartment in Heart of Seven Mile Beach

We stayed here for a weekend getaway. The small space was all we needed for a short stay and for 2 people. Beach is about a 4-5 min walk but was worth it. We went to the beach every morning during our whole stay. I had one issue with the water not turning hot but that was easily fixed and the host responded quickly to my issue. Would stay here again!

Sunset Hideaway (3)

DanaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Worth every penny! Myline’s place is our favorite place now when we visit Grand Cayman. This was our 4th or 5th booking and we will continue to return every year! It is so peaceful here, away from the hustle and bustle of 7-mile beach. This place is about a 15-minute drive to 2 of our favorite restaurants in West Bay (Pappagallos & Calypso Grille). The “Olympic” sized pool is amazing. Great for relaxing after a day of diving. Speaking of diving, there is a nice little reef behind the unit, with easy access to it. If you go right and head north, you’re not too far from Turtle Reef (Macabuca) and you can see turtles, nurse sharks, and puffer fish (just to name a few). If you go left and head south, you’ll find a nice place for snorkeling up along the iron shore. You’ll see all sorts of juvenile fish in the area and lots of Trunk Fish. This place has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Your guide to Grand Cayman

Welcome to Grand Cayman

The largest of the three Cayman islands, Grand Cayman lives up to its name. The Caymans have a reputation as a playground for the wealthy, and its capital city, George Town, located here, confirms that image. Its glitzy, ritzy environs are where visitors congregate to sip cocktails, browse the marquee boutiques, and partake in a plethora of fine dining. All of this is arrayed against Seven Mile Beach, a glamorous strand of white sand abutted by sparkly blue water where turtles and stingrays flit. But Grand Cayman isn’t all about luxury — venture outside George Town and you’ll find pockets of rural idyll and gorgeous natural attractions.

This island’s varied ecosystem supports a dizzying array of flora, including coconut palms, mangroves, and avocado and mango trees. Colorful orchids and fanlike hibiscus flowers bloom here. There are arid semi-desert landscapes contrasted by verdant hardwood forests. At Smith Cove, a favorite snorkeling spot, you can paddle around with tropical fish and — if you’re lucky — even an octopus or two.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Grand Cayman

There isn’t really a bad time to visit Grand Cayman. The weather is warm and sunny year round, although there is a wet season from May to October. This means you’re likely to encounter morning and afternoon rainfall — and also fewer crowds. Pirates Week, one of the island’s biggest and most eccentric events, goes down over three weeks in November and is spread across the three islands, ending in Grand Cayman. Expect parades, bonfires, fireworks, and lots of pirate costumes.

Top things to do in Grand Cayman

Mastic Trail

Located in the Mastic Reserve, which protects the island’s old-growth forest, this tranquil 2.3-mile trail showcases the island’s biodiversity as it traverses mangrove wetlands and palm stands where parrots and woodpeckers congregate. You may also spy orchids, butterflies, and large hermit crabs in this park, which has grown unfettered for two million years.

Cayman Motor Museum

This museum is as much a celebration of cars as it is the special possessions that wealth affords. Built by a car-obsessed businessman, the museum showcases his extensive collection, which includes the first car brought to the Caymans, as well as glittering high-end collector cars and famous Hollywood action hero vehicles.

Crystal Caves

Temporarily bid goodbye to the sunshine to venture underground and explore this fascinating network of underground caves formed more than one million years ago. The Crystal Caves’ interior chambers bristle with strange and beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, some surrounding a limpid underground lake. Rumor has it that pirates stashed gold here, but the real treasures are the scenic riches.
