Our stay at Mariella's beautiful home was a highlight of our five week trip throughout Italy. Peacefully situated between Florence and Siena, this villa offers a welcoming respite from the hustle and bustle of the cities. It was also super convenient to the vineyards throughout Chianti. Waking up every morning to the sunrise views over the valley and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening were the perfect beginning and ending to each day. The pool was even larger than we imagined and provided days of entertainment sprinkled in during a week of sightseeing and wine tasting. I cannot recommend this home, location, or host enough. You will NOT be disappointed!

Le logement est conforme à la description. Il est bien situé pour visiter les villes de Toscane comme Sienne, San Gimignano et Florence. Il est aussi proche du sentier d’Elsa une très belle promenade. Nous somme restés 4 nuits, nous aurions pu rester encore 1 ou 2 nuits il y a tellement de choses à voir! Pour profiter du jardin comme montré sur les photos il y a des escaliers donc le logement est conseillé pour des personnes en bonne santé.

Helt nydelig opphold på et helt nydelig sted! Vi hadde en fantastisk opplevelse fra start til slutt. Vi ble møtt på en utrolig hyggelig og varm måte av Lorenzo, som virkelig tok så godt vare på oss hele turen. Han arrangerte både omvisninger og andre hyggelige overraskelser og gjorde oppholdet vårt ekstra spesielt. For en fin tur det ble, og så heldige vi var som fikk bli kjent med så mange fine folk! Leiligheten var nydelig, med alt vi trengte. Komfortabel, ren og med en god atmosfære. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Siena, House in the heart of Tuscany

We couldn't have been happier with Gian Matteo's apartment in Colle di Val d'Elsa as our home base in Tuscany. The village is equally (or even more) enchanting as the more popular towns nearby except you feel like you're living with the locals and not a tourist. We started each morning sitting at the local Italian pastry shop using the vouchers included with the apartment and the breakfast treats and coffee were simply AMAZING! Day trips to San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, a winery in Chianti (Podere Bucine), and Monteriggioni were all within 20 to 45 minutes and incredibly scenic drives. Dinner options in Colle di Val d'Elsa itself include a wide variety of restaurants all within a short walk and the local grocery store (Conad) has all the essentials, produce, and prepared foods one could need. Wish we could have stayed two weeks instead of one!

Alloggio facile da trovare, al piano terreno, accogliente e silenzioso. Vicino c'è un bar e un ristorante. A due passi dal Parco dell'Elsa con un percorso sul fiume e possibilità di bagnarsi e stare al fresco. Poco distante dal centro e dai servizi raggiungibili in bici o con un mezzo.

Our stay at La Cetina was nothing short of idyllic. The villa is quiet and peaceful, exactly what we were after. It was a short drive from near villages, but we were more than happy spending most of our holiday on-site, by the pool, in the hot tub, or using the BBQ. Mariana was the perfect host - super helpful even before our trip started, and right until the end with giving us tips for our trip back (and even gifted us some of their homemade honey). On homemade produce: the wines and olive oil that they offer on site are absolutely delicious. We would definitely go back. Thank you!
