Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Previous guests have loved this quiet, treelined residential area. 20 mins from airport, 10 mins to city centre by tram. 10 mins walk to Murrayfield Stadium. Free parking in my driveway. Very regular buses and trams until midnight. Airport bus runs throughout the night at a stop 5 mins walk from my house. Local restaurants & bars within 10 min walk or a myriad or restaurants 10 mins by tram.
