We are glad to choose Duco as our host for the holidays. The house is located in a beautiful and friendly spot in Naarden, the neighborhood felt so cozy, calm, and vintage. I really thank Duco for this opportunity to stay at his place, my family and I had an amazing time feeling like home, he has provided guidances and trip ideas along our journey with sightseeing options, restaurants, and etc. As a matter of fact, everything needed was near with a 5 mins walk to Albert Heijn or other essentials needed in a neighborhood, beautiful sightseeings, and beautiful restaurants. Overall, check-in was smooth, responsiveness was excellent, and an amazing walkable area. Thank you Duco for your friendly hospitality, we will for sure visit you again!

Beautiful home, clean and spacious. Great location with walkable distance to the train station and the shops. Host was very responsive to the questions we had during our stay. Every room had space for our belongings so we didn’t feel like we were living out of a suitcase the whole time. Everything we needed to enjoy the space was provided thoughtfully. Loved our stay! 4 bedrooms and 3 baths is difficult to come by in Europe, so that was a blessing! Street is narrow so be prepared to rent a small vehicle if renting. We had 5 adults & rented a Dacia Jogger 7 seater & fit just fine in the parking spot. Its a 1 way street. We loved the charm of the historic home...has been modernized. There is a nice backyard, but we were too busy to use it. There is a bbq grill, full kitchen, 2.5 baths. Fenna provides 5 bikes, 3 tall adult, one tall kid and one med kid bike....You can easily walk or ride bikes to an area just a few small blocks over with a very nice grocery store, a bakery, and burger restaurant. All wonderful, with friendly service and most speak English and Dutch or use google translate to speak with them. There is no microwave. Fenna communicates very well. Beds were comfortable. House was clean! Wood stove. Close to everything. House cozy and well stocked. Appliances are Miele so might be a good idea to familiarize yourself.

A true airbnb: a real family house with story, some scars and lots of soul. The hosts make everything for you to feel at home and at ease. You will find all you need in the house - fully equipped kitchen, big tables for family meals, kids paradise with trampoline, lots of toys and treashures in the garden shed. Cozy garden and reading corners for relaxing. Big public parking in front, grocery shop just accross, coffee place on the corner, beach and park within 3 min walk... Everything was easy and the area was safe and quiet. Interesting places to visit around, only our agenda was full this time. Maybe next year.

Great host, big house, amazing location

I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve stayed at many Airbnb /hotels etc. Joyce’s place and her communication was as good as you can wish for. Highly recommend in every way. Not sure a host could be better! She addressed all my needs and it was simply a perfect stay. A+++++

Spacious apt that was centrally located. We loved walking around to great restaurants and bars, and it was easy to take subway or tram to where we wanted to go.

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

Menke’s place is in the perfect location - just outside the main tourist area so it is authentic, yet still close to everything. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll definitely come back when we are in Amsterdam next. Menke is also very easy to work with and accommodating. Easy 5 stars all around.

Excellent location! Very nice neighborhood, walkable everywhere, supermarkets close by, restaurants nearby...Jurgen was very proactive, responsive and very flexible.

Tijmen was an excellent host. The apartment is a bit tricky to find, and the stairs are very steep and difficult with luggage. The location is wonderful and the flat is superb. Comfy beds, plenty of amenities and lounging area, with phenomenal natural lighting throughout.

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

We’ve now stayed in this beautiful, cozy little house for the second time – and it was just as lovely as the first. That’s exactly why we decided to come back. The house is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, located in a quiet area, and the perfect place to relax. Our dog really enjoyed the park right across the street – great for walks. Our little son also had a blast, both playing in the house and exploring the city. We had an amazing time and felt right at home. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back!

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet but still central. Mandy-Remko was very friendly, easy to reach and provided us with great tips. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We were in Rose's amazing cottage for our first wedding anniversary for a few days. Rose had made a rose and a card very thoughtful for us, which immediately made for a nice welcome! We had wonderful days by the fireplace, enjoyed the area with our dogs and the sunrise from the dike is fantastic!

I felt the love that was put into the renovation and furnishing of the cottage! Highly recommended for interior lovers 🤩 Besides, it was really sparkling clean. The garden with its various seating areas really invites you to linger...and our dog also felt "right at home" here! We would have loved to have stayed much longer 🥰

We had a great time here! The cottage is really cozy, it has everything you need, the communication with the team was very pleasant and the breakfast in the Koffiehuis really delicious. We were in the Netherlands for a concert and the Ziggo Dome was very accessible.
