Gustavo and Sandra were great hosts and were very welcoming. They were very responsive when I needed help with anything. The apartment is in a great location. There are many food spots in walking distance, and Walmart is not too far away. There is a grocery store one block away. There are also a couple of gyms in walking distance. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

We rented David's place for a small trip to an event at the Palacio de los Deportes. The space was magnificent, we were quite surprised how well organized, spacious and clean it was. We stayed very little but you sleep very well, we were able to rest as much as we needed, I would have loved to stay longer.

This Airbnb is located in a quiet cul de sac that lends to the over all feeling of privacy and calm. The place is ideal for one or two people to use as a base for exploration. It’s easy walking distance to shops and a park. It’s also very close to a hotel that can be used to be picked up from when signing up for trips on trip advisor, Viator, or Get your guide. Juan Carlos and Mauricio were ideal hosts. We had arranged for a driver to pick me up. When the driver was unable to make it at the last moment,rather than cancel and refer me to uber, Juan Carlos, himself, came. I was impressed! Juan Carlos and Mauricio were available to answer any questions I had throughout my stay. They responded in short order to any communication I sent. They were warm and personable. The stay was handled in a professional yet caring manner. I’d choose this Airbnb again if I return to San Jose. I recommend it highly to you!

They provided clear instructions that made check-in and check-out super easy, and they shared great recommendations for shuttles, restaurants, and local spots. The apartment was peaceful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The photos in the listing are 100% accurate — what you see is exactly what you get. The neighborhood felt very safe, and it’s about a 20-minute walk to the downtown area. Ubers are easy to get and cost around $3 USD, which was super convenient. We had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again!

A few steps from restaurants and the center of San José, the space was very clean and tidy, the spectacular view, the sliding doors of the room do not allow that between noise, the reception is very nice and the guys who work there were friendly, the check-in was quick and the host allowed us to arrive earlier as we had some activities to do.

this is a room in a really fun hotel. the hotel is new and very arty. the neighborhood is fun. the cafe to the right of the entrance is good with good wifi and food. to the right is a nice minimart (2nd one). there are nice parks nearby.

Great apartment in a great location. When a challenge arose with the washing machine Mijail was proactive in finding a solution despite the late hour. Its proximity to the the Plaza shopping mall and Escazu make it a great location, and the bedrooms, dining and kitchen made it a great place for my family and me while staying in San Jose. If returning to San Jose, this is where I'd want to come back to.

Very quiet, excellent, clean.

We loved our stay! Kathleen is a sweetheart and so kind and attentive. And her three dogs are adorable. The unit is perfect for two people. It is situated on a dead end street, making it a very quiet location with no street noise. There are so many places to eat just a quick Uber ride away - both Los Yoses and Escalante barrios are very nearby. Super convenient location and a wonderful host!

I worked at the German School Abroad for three months and the accommodation is centrally located in Pavas and opposite the German school. Camille was a very good who always responded to guests' requests. The apartment was always super clean and the pictures correspond to reality.
