The house is located in the 2nd row on the hillside directly on the forest and is only accessible by steps. The Zaukennest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bed is exceptionally possible. A laundry package (sheets/towels) can be added for a flat 25 EUR (get it yourself). The private parking lot is about 250 m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min Train station by ferry: 20 min.

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. Our house is a 270-year-old Umindehaus that we have lovingly renovated and rebuilt. As far as possible, we received or restored the old wooden floorboards or woodwork. Our garden is so designed that living creatures that are at home are still allowed to feel comfortable such as, salamander, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfisher and wild bees. Those who stay in the garden for a longer period of time can watch these many rare residents in our garden.
