Cottage vacation rentals in Go Home Lake

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

Had a great family getaway for a few nights. Peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and close to amenities if needed. Lovely cabin!

Great stay for our friends bachelorette. It has everything we needed and was a prime location in Bala for everything you may need.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

Jennifer's place was a perfect gathering point for our birthday family reunion. The accommodation was spotless, bright and warm and even had a little pack and play set up for the baby to have a nap. The grounds were stunning as was the view. Our only regret is that the weather did not cooperate so water activity was limited to a polar dip followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A beautiful retreat that our family thinks should be an annual event.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! Carm and Mary have a lovely space that they have worked to make comfortable and inviting! There were so many thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the peaceful environment, the hot tub, and the surrounding beauty of the Georgian Bay. There were plenty of things that our children enjoyed- games and ping pong and the yard. The beds were the most comfortable have stayed in all vacation. The kitchen was well stocked. The hosts were responsive and quick with recommendations. Highly, highly recommend this stay! Awenda Provincial Park and Wasaga Beach were easy drives and enjoyable.

It is a beautiful, secluded area on Pine Lake with the back facing west (Make sure that you enjoy watching the sunsets from the living room area or the hot tub!). There was plenty of equipment by the dock for us to use and enjoy on the water. The kids enjoyed paddling and swimming in the lake. If you are looking to work remotely, the internet connection was solid as my friend decided to work. If you are looking to switch off and go analog - it rained heavily one day there, but everyone was entertained with the all of the games and puzzles that were supplied at the cottage. Our Great Pyrenees dogs enjoyed roaming the site. We had an issue with the BBQ, but with some quick messaging with Jesse, he was able to get someone out to the cottage to fix the issue. It is a bit of trek to get into the cottage by vehicle, so I recommend that you enjoy the seclusion of the site - it is worth it! However, it is easy to get into town if you need to go there. Had a great time here. Beautiful space, immaculate, and was exactly as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and backyard, and the view of the river was fantastic. Great location, was minutes away from the beach and other shops. There’s a cute ice cream parlour right across the street as well which was great for the kids. Would highly recommend.

A perfect home away from home — beautifully done with thoughtful attention to every detail. The location was ideal: peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We loved the little touches — a firewood stack outside and even a kayak for the water — simply amazing! It gave us the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy some much-needed alone time, away from everything. Highly recommend!

Really cute, clean and comfortable stay in Bala far enough away to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk to town/The Kee etc. Easy check in, super easy communication with host. Nice details like board games, dog bed, kayaks. We would absolutely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Carol's place. the cottage is beautiful, cozy and clean. It had all the amenities we needed. The area is very quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. The walking trails are beautiful. We brought our kayaks and went to a public beach/boat launch which was only a two minute drive away. Couldn't have been happier with everything. We would love to return for another getaway.

This cottage is perfection. Liane & James are just SO lovely. If you're reading this, don't look any further. Just book it. We couldn't have had a better week at Follie's Cove. The cottage was the perfect mix of modern and rustic. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We felt at home instantly. The sunroom was the perfect chill spot for us and our two big dogs to get out of the sun/rain without feeling cooped up indoors. The beach was heaven for our dogs, and on a quiet end of the lake, so we saw few other people all week. The quintessential Muskoka experience! Liane and James were *beyond* wonderful. They set us up with a ton of breakfast food and desserts. Even offered to return the day after check-in to drop off more coffee. It truly felt like renting from friends. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from them and puttering around the lake. Wish I had more space to gush about the space and their incredible hospitality. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Had a great weekend getaway. I was happily suprised that there has been some upgrades outsides since the last pictures were taken. We got everything we were expecting but I’d say overall the whole experience was much better then expected. Kathy was extremely responsive and helpful. I would recommend for anyone looking to stay somewhere with a close drive to the beach and a nice backyard to relax by the water.

Well appointed cottage with an amazing view. My family had a great time here. We especially enjoyed relaxing evenings around the fire pit looking out over the lake.

One of my favourite Airbnb cottages! The space is perfect for a family (lots of kid focused things) or for a few friends. The property is beautiful, has great amenities like the sauna and water toys. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had anything you could need. All in all this was one of the best experience I’ve had. The host was super lovely, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a great experience for their guests.

We are so grateful for the absolutely perfect week we had at this beautiful, peaceful, well-appointed, comfortable cottage. The space was very clean, welcoming and bright, but cozy! We hope to return as soon as possible!

Such a perfect little getaway spot. Super quiet and private — loved relaxing in the hot tub at night and hanging by the fire. The place has a dock with kayaks and paddleboards, which made the lake time extra fun. Everything was clean and cozy, and it just felt peaceful the whole time. Already planning to come back!

We had a great stay at Meghan’s cottage! Wonderful cottage and the outdoor space is incredible. Pretty well stocked kitchen and newly renovated bathroom. Very comfortable beds too! Would absolutely recommend!

Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!

Loved our stay at River Vista! The attention to detail was what makes this cottage luxury: from beautiful live plants, to plenty of convenient storage, comfy beds and a giant couch perfect for enjoying the forest view, playing board games or snuggling with a book. Loved walking to the falls, as well as just watching the river flow. The private mini hike was a cool surprise too. Last but not least, Natasha and Matt are responsive and helpful - thank you! We can’t wait to return in the summer so we can float, paddle board and canoe 🛶.
