Monthly Rentals in Glencoe

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

This is such a wonderful location. The apartment felt private but not totally isolated. It was clean, well maintained, and had a well-stocked kitchen which made cooking that much easier for us. Absolutely lovely place, we had a great time.

The communication with Thoung was very easy, she is very helpful! The cabin is cozy with a small fireplace. Downstairs has a queen bed, a separate bathroom, and a bunk bed. There is a strong smell downstairs, so it’s not ideal if you’re sensitive. The upstairs master bedroom is spacious. Very quiet location with a nice deck for eating outside.

I am so happy to have found this wonderful place to stay. Charming is an understatement. The location is just beautiful, with the smell of pines and the sound of the wind through their needles. The house was squeaky clean. The inside of the house is a showpiece, the bathrooms are beautiful, the kitchen amazing. I love all the fun decor elements. Deb was very easy to communicate with. I would stay again, in a heartbeat.
