Villa vacation rentals in Girone

Our stay at Sonia’s place was like a week in a fairy tale. To stay in an 18th century home in Tuscany with the front door on the town square and the private rear terrace with a million dollar view was extraordinary. As for comforts & conveniences: There’s a parking space in the gated backyard, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has lots of wine glasses. There’s also a well-stocked supermarket at the bottom of the backyard stairs. And if you see the food truck just below the center of town, be sure to stop for a sandwich. If you can get away from the terrace, Carolyn & Sonia recommended the restaurant Enoteca Baldi, and we do too.

Great place to stay, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and very warm hosts! We lacked nothing. We were here with 7 people for our training camp and had a wonderful time in the villa. It's really even nicer than we would have expected from the pictures. Surrounded by olive trees and only a handful of other houses, you can perfectly unwind - whether by the pool, in the garden or in the house itself. Zara and Mark are very courteous and helpful. We immediately received an answer to every question and also a lot of helpful tips to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Zara showed us the area on a short morning hike. We would never have found these places without them. We will be back for sure.

Staying in this villa in Tuscany was an absolute dream come true! The place is beautiful – surrounded by picturesque hills, full of peace and Italian charm. The villa itself is decorated with great taste, very clean, spacious and fully equipped – we lacked nothing. And the pool? A wonder! Perfect for relaxing with a view of the Tuscan landscapes, especially at sunset. We would like to especially thank the host – for the warm welcome, helpful tips and cordiality we felt throughout our stay. This place has a soul, and the atmosphere is conducive to true relaxation. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan experience – we will definitely be back! Our family vacation to Villa Berni in Bottai was phenomenal, and it all started with the accommodations. Alessandro's brother, Enrico, met us as planned and gave us a tour of the villa. As requested, they provided 2 cribs for our grandbabies. With 6 bdrms and 5 bath, each couple had their own space, and the babies had their own rooms too. It was conveniently located taking 20 minutes to the Florence city center and other local towns provided everything we needed. Our favorite part of the villa was the garden courtyard. We had morning coffees and evening cigars/drinks. A bonus was the tortoises which the babies loved finding each morning to feed them strawberries. Part of the family farm, Enrico gave us a tour of the olive grove and farm animals. He even staged eggs for the grands to collect. Our last night, we arranged pro chefs to prep an authentic Tuscany dinner. This kitchen met their needs, and we ate in the courtyard. We couldn't ask for more...Thanks for hosting us!

The house is as you see it in the pics, amazing. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are fully renovated. There is everything you need in the kitchen Including kitchen towels, cups, wine glasses and plates. The house has a dishwasher, a washing machine and there is a grill for a barbecue. The host was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I could definitely recommend this villa to anybody that is looking for a quiet stay and still be close to very touristy Florence.

Such a great place. Felt like we were staying with friends. Great location to take bus into Florence because parking is tough. but was great for using our car to explore sooo many beautiful towns nearby. The American Cemetery is so close. Had a great meal at a wonderful restaurant walkable right down the road. So many wineries nearby. This place was an amazing stay!

La Vignaccia is wonderful. We were a family of 6 adults plus a baby, and the set up was great for spending time together but also having plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a large group and the many private spaces were very relaxing. Working remotely was possible with the wifi but not super strong for calls. However there is 5G around the house, so hot spotting from a window worked fine.

Livia house is beautiful and typical house of Chianti so relaxing, a little bit difficult to find due phone service but get it and the sunset with a glass of Chianti or Limoncello Spritz is amazing. One of best restaurant Sotto L’Arco is very close with very nice people. Livia explain everything when we arrived Thank you so much we will be back

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing place to bring the family and celebrate our anniversary. So many gorgeous group spaces indoors and out. Our host accommodated us with early arrival, a crib and plenty of linens for two small children. The garden is gorgeous and the yard is friendly and safe for a two-year-old. Our family ate our way through the neighborhood. Such great restaurants all around. Started the day at the convent for coffee and would say the Cucina was one of our favorite restaurants for dinner. All in all it was the perfect place to make some very beautiful memories.

We had a wonderful stay! The villa was spacious, peaceful, and perfect for our family. The host made us feel incredibly welcome when we arrived, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful help arranging car service and the delicious home-cooked meals provided for our group. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully located in a quiet area, ideal for relaxing. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at the villa and really enjoyed our time there! The place is spacious, well-kept, and has a very relaxing vibe — perfect for a few quiet days. Everything went smoothly during our stay, from check-in to check-out. It felt super chill overall, and the cleaning lady arrived right on time as we were leaving. A small thing to mention: the electricity went out briefly one evening, but the host was incredibly responsive and put in a lot of effort to get everything back up and running quickly. It really showed how much she cared about our comfort. All in all, a smooth and pleasant experience — we’d definitely come back!

just wanted to share how much I loved my time at this beautiful place. We were a family of 11 adults, and the house was perfect for a big group like ours. It’s very spacious and extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and everything you’d hope for in Tuscany. The swimming pool was one of our favorite spots, offering an amazing panoramic view of the nearby town—just breathtaking. Our host, Tatiana , was extremely kind and welcoming. One morning, we were surprised with a delicious selection of Italian pastries for breakfast—a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our stay even more special. It’s also a great place for children, with plenty of outdoor space and a safe, relaxing environment. I would absolutely recommend this stay to families or large groups looking for a memorable Tuscan escape. I’d definitely come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Italy! The property was even more stunning in person—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. What really made our stay exceptional, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive throughout our visit, always available if we had questions or needed anything. Their hospitality truly elevated our experience. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The views from Janine’s villa are breathtaking and pictures don’t do it justice. It was so quiet and peaceful, a little slice of heaven. We visited with our two boys (5 and 10) who loved the pool and the spaciousness of the home and the grounds. Being so close to Panzano was the best perk because we were within a 7 minute drive to town for great restaurants, simple groceries, and pastries (as opposed to other villas that require a longer drive to get anywhere to eat/visit). A great base for exploring the surrounding area as well, and an easy day trip to Florence. There are excellent wineries within a 3 minute drive! Janine was a lovely, kind, and helpful host and gave us tips for local restaurants as well as places for our trip to Florence. It was very hot during our stay but the fans were enough to keep cool at night and we didn’t turn on the A/C. We stumbled across this little gem and if you’re lucky enough to do so as well, you will be swept up by the magic of the views and villa.

Thank you!! We enjoyed our vacation with 9 girlfriends! A little humidity due to the weather, but the place is ideal in summer and comforting by the fire when the good weather is not present!

Beautiful location on the outskirts of Florence. A little expensive to get into the city though. The apartment was very beautiful and as described. Some areas were more clean than others (specifically the bed headboards were a little dirty but probably just because it’s antique furniture). Overall a great place to stay though and Stefano is very easy to work with

This property exceeded our expectations with spectacular views and peaceful, natural surroundings! The host was friendly and responsive. The proximity to San Gimignano and other Tuscan destinations was convenient. Each day felt magical! Just sitting on the patio was amazing! An unforgettable destination and experience!

Lacopo was very responsive each time I needed to contact him. The place was very nice but remote. it was about 1 1/2 hours to drive to some of the other medieval cities. It rained a lot but also was beautiful because of the rain. Lacopo and his family were fantastic. The homemade meal his parents prepared for us was absolutely delicious! One of the best meals we had while in Tuscany! It was nice to see how active his parents were and how well they took care of the place. We were surprised to be charged if we used the pool towels. There was nothing mentioned in the description. We would recommend this place. There were 4 adults and we had plenty of room.

We - a family of seven adults - had a really great stay at Bernardino's house. The house itself was very cosy and charming and contained everything we needed. The pool and the pool area, to which only we had access, was a fantastic extra asset which we enjoyed a lot. The nearby surroundings were also very nice with vineyards and woods. We even spotted three seldom orchids and heard the pirol bird which is very exotic to us. At the same time, it was possible to walk to the nearby town of Gaiole in Chianti where many nice restaurants and cafes can be found.

The dirt track leading up to the house is bumpy, but even if it had been 10 times worse, it would have been worth travelling along it to get to the house. The house is beautiful and spacious, the gardens and pool are amazing, but the views are out of this world. We've been very lucky to stay in many beautiful places around the world, over the years... this is the best. And to top it all off, Beatrice is a fantastic and friendly host. Providing us with samples of the family red wine and olive oil, as well as homemade bread, and great recommendations for places to eat. She even made sure we had wonderful weather :) We normally see all the sites around when we visit anywhere, but we only visited Pisa and Siena as the house was just too nice, not to take full advantage of. I worked in Tuscany many years ago and had always told the family how great it was... they were not disappointed.

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The home is located at the top of a hill in a 6 hectare working olive grove. A couple of horses greeted us on our arrival. The space was beautiful, large and comfortable. Beds were great, the location was very quiet and the view from the property was fantastic. Our two boys were thrilled with the pool and we found it a refreshing way to wake up in the morning. We used it as a base to travel to Cinque Terre, Sienna, San Gimignano and other locations in Tuscany. If you are staying here, a car is recommended (which we did), as the bus is around 800m (half mile) down from the residence and that means, it would be a walk back up at the end of the day. We highly recommend this place and would go back.
