A lovely stay in a quiet residential area, on the edge of a woodland and yet close to the vibrant city of Eindhoven; only a 15 minute drive (by private transport or taxi) from Eindhoven Airport! Our B&B is situated in a private unit in our peaceful backyard. We've always loved (re)building and decorating and love being able to share this passion with our guests through our homely B&B. 't Achterommetje is very spacious and quietly located. Home is practical yet homey. Outside there are two terraces, one in the sun and one in the shade. There is a lot private due to a natural construction of the garden. The ground floor has floor heating, cooking facilities, laundry room and toilet. There is also a large fitted wardrobe for suitcases, jackets, shoes and bags. On the first floor is a bedroom with double sink, shower room, and separate toilet.

The area is ideal for walking, cycling / mountain biking, a visit to the adjacent doll museum, the Van Gogh Museum in Nuenen, Eindhoven 12 km away. Several golf courses about 10 km away. The outdoor swimming pool can be used from May to October 1, weather permitting.

Peace, space and privacy in rural area

Complete guest house with a beautiful garden and possibility to use Hottub. The stay is on the property of a former calf farm. Nature reserve is around the corner where you can also enjoy hiking, biking/mountain biking. When booking 4 nights, an evening hot tub is included. Hot tub bookable for 40 euros. The bedrooms are separated by a closet wall and a curtain. Smoking and pet inside are not allowed Smoking outside is no problem.

The guest suite is located in the backyard of our plot, and can be reached via a side gate of our house. The studio has 2 single beds(80-200) and a cozy seat with 2 chairs. TV available. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle and fridge. It is not possible to cook extensively. There is a small dining table with 2 chairs. In front of the Guesthouse you have a small outdoor terrace with 2 seats.

I had a great stay at Tony’s place with clear and friendly communication, very recommended place and host. I really appreciated the effort put into equipping the spacious room with hotel-like amenities such as a sink, small desk for sitting with your laptop, smart lights, iron and ironing board, etc. as well as thoughtful extras like complimentary snacks, soft drinks and bottled water on arrival, and the well-stocked options for coffee and tea. The area is safe and quiet, not far at all from the central station with plenty of good value shops and restaurants round the corner. If you get the chance, I highly recommend you try a Surinamese place called the Sanglee Rotishop that’s on the way walking towards the city centre. Happy to stay here again.

Clean and well-maintained cottage accommodation. Our whole family slept very well in air-conditioned rooms with blackout curtains. It was also good to sleep on the sofa bed. We also got a microwave at the request for heating food. We met Henk when he arrived and left and he was very kind and nice.
