Charming apartment at the entrance of the Emmental

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

This elegant renovated flat with breathtaking views of the Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger mountains is perfect for those who enjoy country living with beautiful Nature Experiences. The unspoilt landscapes can be found within a 15-minute walk from the site. The forest and the sheep of the floodplain are practically "on the doorstep". The distance to Solothurn train station is about 15 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bike. There is reserved parking outside the Chalet. Welcome !!!

Fully equipped, but reduced to the essentials, this tiny house is the perfect place for a break. The studio is located on the ground floor of a former country school house, surrounded by green meadows, in the beautiful Emmental. The studio has a double bed, a private kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. When the weather is fair, the garden invites you to linger. Despite the rural location, the center of Sumiswald is only about 3 km away. A sports center with swimming pool is also nearby. The nearest bus stop is approx. 1.5 kilometers away.

The 2.5-room apartment was renovated in 2017. It is very centrally located: In the immediate vicinity are the old town, shopping, public transport, restaurants and numerous bars, an outdoor swimming pool and the Aare river. On request, a crib and highchair can be provided. The equipment includes a raclette grill. From August 12, 2025, the apartment will be available for long-term tenants (minimum 3 months).
