Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Genval

After 8 years on Airbnb, this is my first long review. The window was broken, and due to strong wind I caught a bad flu that I’m still recovering from. The host was very rude. I stayed two nights, and on the last night I asked for the WiFi password—he replied by demanding to know when I was leaving and insisted on checkout by 11 a.m. I had planned everything assuming I could stay until 2 p.m., and politely asked if that was possible. He responded aggressively, threatened to report me to Airbnb, and falsely claimed he let me check in early (I arrived at 3 p.m., on time). I left by 10:30 a.m. regardless. I’ve stayed in many countries through Airbnb and never encountered this level of disrespect. I’m not writing this to hurt his business, but to encourage a little more politeness and professionalism in how guests are treated.

Excellent friendly host, super responsive and accommodating. Centrally located too and walking distance from all the key sights. Would recommend to stay here.

This place is very bright, peaceful & beautiful, tucked away in a quiet one-way street close by to the Place Keym. Guillaume was very helpful & responsive, making sure that everything was going well. I would highly recommend this place!

Really enjoyed my stay here. It was everything I needed for my stay in Brussels I would upgrade some of the kitchen utensils which are a bit worn down but that's an easy solution. Everything worked perfectly. The location is great and Rabia was a wonderful and responsive host

Wonderful apartment! Beautiful and clean. Location only a little far from the center, but it is about 10 minutes walk to the metro that takes you to the center. The only downside is that the building is very noisy. We heard the upstairs neighbors in the evening. Apart from that, slept wonderfully.

NIce, spacious apartment with great lighting options and warm interior. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom (on the lower level of the apt) was spacious. Neighborhood is quiet while also having good access to trams, restaurants, and multiple supermarkets. Highly recommend!

Very well-appointed and comfortable apartment. Keys delivered in person, wine, water, beer, coffee, tea available on arrival, very much appreciated. On the other hand, we would have liked to have additional written information on the use of the TV and the various devices, supermarkets and bakeries nearby. The elevator caused us some concern. I wouldn't go in summer, it must be very hot, but at any other time I see only advantages.

Great place. Highly recommended. Comfortable and very close to the European institutions. Good communication and great wifi and bed. Silent at night and good stuff in the kitchen.

It is a very nice house in a beautiful setting. There was everything present and as a welcome there was delicious apple juice and a bottle of Houppe beer. The house was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed it. The house is highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable during our stay. The house is a spacious three-story building with steep stairs, so keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns. You have to pass through the owner’s home to get to the rental, which was no problem for us. The place was very clean and well-maintained, everything was in great condition. On the first day, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which was a lovely touch. The house is perfectly equipped for families with young children — there were many baby-friendly items like a crib, high chair, and plenty of toys. It truly felt adapted for babies and ideal for families. The neighborhood is pleasant and conveniently located, with everything close by.

The house was very elegant and well-appointed, with lovely historic details as well as modern amenities. The bathrooms in particular were beautifully-done, with excellent features like a large tub and shower stall. The hosts were very welcoming and left plenty of information about the house, the neighbourhood, and various things to do in the city. It does have a lot of narrow stairs - if you have any mobility issues that make it difficult to climb stairs, it could be an issue, but it is a historic home with many original features still intact, so it adds to the flavour. The neighbourhood was lively, if a bit noisy at times, and there were many good restaurants nearby. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the metro, so it wasn't too difficult to get around. I also have to put in a good word for the hosts, who were extremely helpful when I had a question about where to find a drugstore after 8pm, when most local places were already closed. Thank you!

It is very close to the airport and very convenient to go to the airport. We stay here every time we travel from China to Europe or leave from Europe. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is very convenient and the room is comfortable.Totally recommend it.

we enjoyed the beautiful house in a wonderful location very much. Unfortunately, the weather was not really bad, but inside it was warm and cozy. we would love to come back with nice weather. There's plenty to do nearby, so you definitely don't get bored.

Our 4-day family weekend was great! Atypical, spacious, warm accommodation, everything we love, 🥰 a terrace to enjoy the beautiful weather and a trampoline and swing that our daughter loved🤗. Everything is available, it feels like home. Perfect, thank you so much! We'll be happy to go back! 🤗😁

Olivier was helpful and responsive, and it was a great place to stay for a few days. The bathroom and elevator up were admittedly a bit tight, but it was enough space to maneuver with just the two of us. This location is located very close to Merode station which was handy to get around. It can be a bit loud if there are concerts in the nearby park (as was the case for our stay), but they ended well before midnight so it was not a major problem. Definitely recommended if you can book this AirBnB!

Large,clean and modern apartment. Easy walking distance to attractions, shopping and restaurants. Building access was easy with a large elevator and electric key codes. It was a good fit for 4 of us and had a full size fridge for food stuffs.

I had a great stay! The location was perfect—walkable to everything I needed and easy to get around. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout the stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. This was our second stay at Lieve's place during the past few months because of the exceptional accommodations, location, and excellent hospitality. Lieve's Airbnb continues to be one of the best, if not THE best, place we have stayed at in many years at Airbnbs. The place is immaculately clean, has all the comforts of home, and is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and all the great places you may want to see. Best of all, you will experience Lieve's warm hospitality. During both stays, she greeted us upon our arrival with a warm smile and a box of excellent Belgian chocolate, which we enjoyed immensely. She provided complete instructions for everything in the apartment. She was responsive to any requests we had during our stay. She even arranged for a taxi to take us to the train station for our departure. You will be hard pressed to find a better place than this Airbnb in Brussels. We are already planning on returning and staying at Lieve's place.

Great stay and have a nice host! Upon arrival, we unfortunately saw that the gas had been shut off throughout the building due to a leak, something the host could not do anything about, of course. The host had also seen this and proactively offered to bring an electric hob as a replacement. We had a very nice stay at this location!

Chosen for its location, close to the center of Mechelen and the train station, making Antwerp, Brussels and Leuven very easy to reach. Apartment is spacious, including parking garage and partly covered terrace. Washer, dryer, spacious bathroom, everything you might need. We can highly recommend this.
