Idyllic riverfront chalet in Magaliesburg mountain

Our small self-catering 5 sleeper thatched chalet fits in perfectly with nature. The chalet is totally off the grid and uses a limited solar inverter to charge and run your personal 220V devices. It is a small and compact chalet, but the setting makes it a wonderful place to rest for a weekend. There is a fully equipped kitchen, gas stove and a fridge/freezer. The downstairs bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin. Outside is an amazing bush-shower. The views from the upstairs deck are stunning.

It is the private luxury lodge of the owner of Steynshoop, with antique furnishings and luxury items. It has wonderful views, through large sliding windows, over the pool and dams and down the valley, and of the mountain range. There is a thatched gazebo, with a large table and chairs next to the pool. There is a tennis court, full sized billiard room, volleyball, etc.

I enjoyed my stay at Dikhololo, the place was clean and peaceful. My unit had everything I needed it felt like home. Thee activities there are to die for!! and catered for everyone to enjoy 😉. I personally enjoyed everything, I experienced everything that was on the advert and more. Definitely a place to visit again 😌.

No wi-fi in the unit and late communication in regards to paying for the air-conditioner from the reception only when I asked

Really had a nice time here away from the city. My dogs really had a good time in the garden and around the farm. Perfect place to connect with nature. Our host Bev attended to all our needs.

Amazing room, very intimate. There isnt wifi but we didnt need it as there’s so much to do and we enjoyed each other’s company. Had a fire pit and braai area. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend. Had many restaurants and activities near by as well as a shopping center for groceries. Chameleon village is a must!
