A beautiful place to stay. The house is comfortable and spacious. Didn’t take long to get to town if needed. We loved our time here.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Courtney’s place in Snowshoe! The location was perfect, offering easy access to the slopes and nearby amenities. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Courtney was a wonderful host—responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the little touches that made us feel right at home. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future. Thanks again for a great experience!

Extremely clean, and perfect for 2-4 guests in Beckley, WV Roughly 30 - 40 mins to New River Gorge which was the primary reason for our visit Chipotle and other great restaurants within a 10 - 15 minute drive Bathtub was perfect for after a long walk! When we come back to WV, we will definitely book this place again!

Was a great stay. Very comfortable bed. Internet was pretty spotty, but we had a good signal with Verizon so our phones worked well.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and cozy. We appreciated the extra cozy blankets provided and extra towels. The location was perfect and we were close to everything that we came up to do! Thank you also for the warm welcome & water & snacks. They really came in handy. The house is beautifully curated with antiques and art that highlight the historic structure. And the setting is so peaceful and pretty and loaded with birds and wildlife to enjoy on the covered porch.

Great as always. That porch is the place to be! Can’t wait for next year.

The inside was absolutely stunning with all of the character of the 1930's home but with the flare of modern decorating. Many details were considered for guests including skillets, cutting boards, measuring tools, and even ziplock bags in the kitchen. Cleaning supplies were easily accessible, and there were even tissues available for guests. The hosts were prompt in their responses and always kind and friendly. Everything was as expected per the description, and the check-in and check-out procedure for very straightforward and simple. The only drawback is the one bathroom on the second floor.

Such a cute place! Had everything we needed and was convenient to the slopes. Loved that it was a ground level. We woke up to beautiful snowy views every morning and we even had deer come right up to our walkway from the woods a few times. We are so grateful it was available for our winter break! Thank you Vicki for having us.

We had one slight issue, but we were able to get it taken care of & Jared was extremely responsive/helpful! Otherwise, this location was awesome especially for those who weren’t skiing, they were able to walk right down to the village. The space was actually bigger than pictures & was plenty big for four of us. We loved the view from the balcony & the sunset! Would definitely recommend & would love to stay again in the future!

Booked this beautifully renovated, quiet, historic apartment space a bit last-minute for a weekend skiing at Snowshoe and it was a great decision. The value was excellent compared to what it costs on top of the mountain and was a 35-40 minute drive to ski. We loved the amenities of the space as well as the small community of Marlinton (which has great cell service). Hope to be back again soon!!

This has been my favorite AirBnB stay, both in terms of the apartment itself and the surrounding area. Almost a magical location. The town is very friendly, safe, with some really good local restaurants. The scenery is also top notch. The apartment is better than the pictures. Large, super clean, very comfortable with good WiFi and a large TV. The kitchen was very well equipped. Highly recommend staying here. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Excellent host. Responded promptly, instructions were clear and easy to follow. Location was prime. Employees were super friendly. All the surrounding restaurants and businesses were super nice. Place was as clean as a house that was never rented. Probably the cleanest airbnb I’ve been to in recent memory. Sheets and towels smelled brand spanking new. Plenty of extras too. Corner unit with lots of windows and air and natural light. Would 1000% rent again.

This was not our first stay at Hillbilly Hideaway and it won’t be the last. We feel right at home and we love feeling like we are staying with friends! It’s always the little details that make a big difference. I appreciated not having to do much to check out. I had my clothes on for church and all that was required for us to check out was to strip the linens and that definitely made it easier! I recommend Hillbilly Hideaway without hesitation!

Wow! Diana's loft is THE perfect base to spend a week exploring the New River Gorge National Park. Diana and her brother Jimmy went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and welcoming. The decor was lovely. All the amenities were fantastic. And we were extremely grateful for the basket of goodies (and drinks in the fridge). We loved it all! ❤️

I work in Beckley several times a year and was burnt out on hotel life. Christine’s place was perfect for my 2 night stay. Quaint and cozy, quiet and comfortable. The bed and linens were so comfy. Good restaurants are near by, or order in..you’re literally in the downtown area. She provided coffee, tea, and fresh cold filtered water. Even provided coffee creamer! Would definitely recommend, it’s perfect for a couple or if you’re solo!

We loved this house. The Italian design is beautiful. The house was very clean and well supplied with everything you need. Even though there was no issues Rachel was very responsive to a couple of local area questions I had. Definitely will look to stay here again when we return.

We had a great time at the lodge. We got clear directions to the home. It was very rainy on arrival, so Bobbie met us near the home to guide us to the home. She walked us through the home and made a welcome tray. The lifesaver was the food for the next morning. We arrived at 7:30pm and having basic groceries in the home already was the best feeling especially when we didn’t know the town, we didn’t have to wonder to find a grocery store late at night and we could just unpack and unwind after a long day. The home was impeccable for being such a large property. We had overlooked the beds for the kids and she offered me a mattress and two air mattresses, she showed us where they were stored and she had extra linens in almost every room. We were a group of 14 from kids age 6 up to adults age 78. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed the home, the views from the back deck and seeing the animals gracing through the day. Bobbie is by far the next property manager we’ve ever met. We loved it!

This was a last minute housing request for a work trip- accommodations were perfect for our needs- a lot of people in and out, washer and dryer in unit, etc.
