Vacation rentals with lake access in Gauja

We had a wonderful stay at Margarita's house. It was exactly as described, with a lovely and sunny garden. The highlight for us was definitely the sauna, followed by a refreshing dip in the water – it was the perfect way to relax.

Petrovka is a wonderful place with magnificent view on the lake, close to nature where one can disconnect from everyday worries. The hosts were attentioned and nice, we felt more than welcome (even if our arrival was very late) and even a little sad we did not have kids to enjoy all the activities designed for them: games, rabbits etc. Thank you for the peaceful time and rest!

Suur aitäh! Kõik oli lihtsalt suurepärane — majas oli olemas kõik vajalik ja isegi rohkem! Väga ilus interjöör, on näha, et kõik on tehtud armastuse ja tähelepanuga detailide vastu. Väga hubane, nagu kodus. Väike tähelepanek — naabri chow-chow koer võib vahel hoovi sattuda. Kõik muu jättis ainult positiivse mulje — tahaks kindlasti veel tagasi tulla!

Loistava paikka jos haluat majoittua rauhallisesti ja itsenäisesti mutta tutustua samalla Riikaan. 10 minuutin päässä rautatieasemalta pikkurahalla Riikan keskustaan ja takaisin. Huoneisto oli puhdas, laitteet toimivat ja saunastakin sai löylyä. Käytössä oli grilli jolla saslikit oli helppo grillata. Alue rauhallinen omakotialue. Ainoat äänet olivat kanojen puputus ja lintujen lajikohtaiset äännähtelyt. Omistajaperhe miellyttäviä ja ystävällisiä. Iso suositus!

Mõnus ja hubane ning ruumikas maja vaikses ja rahulikus kohas. Kõik vajalik oli majas olemas. Saun ja jääauk talvel samuti mõnus. Maja vastas meie ootustele ja usun, et tuleme kindlasti veel tagasi !

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und super sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage war auch super schön und man hatte wirklich alles zum glücklich sein. Zu dem war die Kommunikation super schnell und gut und unkompliziert. Es wurde direkt auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und flexibel drauf reagiert. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Wonderful place! It was our first time staying here, and we had the whole house for a birthday party. We enjoyed every moment. The cosy balcony offers a scenic river view at sunrise, and the well-organised BBQ area is covered with a solid roof — perfect for any weather. The large kitchen table comfortably fit everyone. A great place overall — highly recommended! We’ll definitely book again for another weekend getaway or even a summer vacation.

Fantastic apartment - everything is brand new and in perfect condition. It actually looks even better than in the photos. The quality is well above what you usually find on Airbnb, so this place is a real gem. Excellent location as well. Highly recommended!

Great value for money! Clean, nice place where to stay in Rezekne. I really liked that there were little tiny things in the appartment that made me well welcomed. Great communication and great local suggestions! Thanks for the lovely stay!

The apartment was like a hotel, doesnt look like somebody lives there. I loved the spartment, its in a new apartment and i have mold allergy so it was perfect Its a perfect location in a beautiful area and the bedrooms have a nice view of the lake. I stayed for two days and was very happy

I had a wonderful stay at Ainar’s place. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, and communication with Ainar was easy and prompt throughout my stay. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay again!

An extremely pleasant and well maintained place, in the middle of Estonian countryside, a quiet place, still with wooden smell, where you find everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The host is very responsive, she met us and made us feel home. A+

Very beautiful and cozy cabin. Great details, very thoughtful. Liked the bed upstairs and the solution with foldable stairs. Although there is neighbours in 80m or so - we didnt felt their presence while we stayed there. Cabin is not very distant from highway, but this place is very quite and full of wildlife. Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Esta's place. It is located close to the Puka village. Very quiet at night, only birds are heard along the day. Spacious house, and road is of good quality to reach it. Comfortable double sofa and pillows. Our 12 yo daughter slept in the bed. Kitchen full of stuff, and electric stove works excellent. Bathroom is big, shower has strong water pressure. Esta has put chocolate Estonian candies to welcome us, and gifted with dried lavender flowers at check-out 🤩

Очень хорошо отдохнули в доме у Валтерса. Очень красивый дом, все что нужно для отличного отдыха есть. Место тихое, у нас был замечательный караоке вечер. Есть спортивные площадки, но использовать не получилось(пол дня был дождь) Терраса у дома большая и вмещает всех без проблем. Мы очень рады побывать в таком месте, к тому же у этого места есть своя история длинною в несколько столетий.

Simonas place is cosy and with lot of attention to detail with wood features aspecially and we enjoyed the hot tub aswell. Would definatelly recomend.

Great location with private beach. You can use sups to swim around the lake. Very relaxing and quiet place. Host has a house close by, but during our stay nobody was there so we didn’t see a single person around. It was perfect getaway from city, people and technology. House has all you need, there is also a bbq grill outside.
