Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Gasconade County

Peaceful stop on a cross country trip for work. We were able to park our 16 foot box truck across from the barn. Martha was proactive in giving directions to get inside, as we were arriving later than initially planned. She had breakfast in the refrigerator for us, and even accomadated my vegan coworker. We were unfortunately unable to meet her, but did meet her son, daughter in law and husband. They were great and her husband showed us around the farm, and we got to see the baby cows. They were the cutest. She also has a dog named Max who greeter me in the morning with a toy. The airbnb is very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

I reserved a two-night stay for my mother to have a personal retreat. She describes her time as peaceful and restorative! The breakfast was incredible and included homemade cheese that is made through the family dairy farm and heaping portions. The view of the meadow is beautiful and she went on a long countryside walk. Many creeks and hills! The B&B is a converted Barn and this is a working farm but this added to the experience! My mother describes how fun it was to get to see some of the farm. Martha and her family are extremely friendly and yet very respectful of personal space. The sheep room that was rented was very spacious with large lofted ceilings and a personal bathroom. What a special stay in a very special place! It was like walking into a Wendell Berry poem. Thank you Martha for creating such a lovely space and taking such good care of my mom on her personal getaway!

First time for a farm stay. It exceeded expectations. The entire guesthouse was very inviting, clean, warm, and spacious. Our suite was very tastefully decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Had a great view of the farm and livestock from our window. Ever so slight aroma of farm, nothing off-putting, just enough to remind you of your farm stay. My girlfriend could not smell it at all. As we were the last of the guests to awake, our shower could have been warmer. Martha is aware of this and in the process of figuring out a way to improve it. Best breakfast I've ever had at a stay, AirBnB, hotel, or otherwise. This is THE place to stay if you are planning a visit to anywhere in the general vicinity.

Enjoyed our stay in Hermann MO. Host was awesome! Location was very good. Bed was comfortable.

This was the coziest place we have stayed in awhile. It’s a true working farm so expect animal smells and sounds but that’s all part of the experience. Martha was so friendly at checkin and got us all settled and ready for a great night. The common room was cozy and had board games, books, and tv. Breakfast was right when she said it was and everything was delicious, several options to choose from. Getting the hot water right in the shower was a little tricky but otherwise a perfect stay. I also loved the shop and bought several types of jams at checkout. We will 100% come back again.

Very nice accommodations, beautiful location on the hill above Hermanhof Winery. A little pricey.

Very nice suite with an amazing view! We loved the fireplaces and the wonderful tub and “ car wash” shower! We appreciate old world design and this was done very well with great attention to detail.
