Beautiful apartment of 85m2 attic in a building with atypical common areas. It is on Place Centrale Philippe VI DE VALOIS facing the Halle and the Belfry. Every Saturday morning, the large market of REVEL (in the 100 most beautiful markets of France) in front of your door. It is at the center of 3 major emblematic cities: Toulouse, Carcassonne and Albi and very well placed for hiking in the Montagne Noire. All types of restaurants in the immediate vicinity for all budgets.

The Revel Setting

Discover L'Écrin de Revel, a charming apartment with mezzanine located in the heart of Revel, a city rich in history and culture. This quiet and cozy accommodation offers panoramic views of the picturesque rooftops of Revel, creating an authentic and relaxing atmosphere. A few steps away, explore Place Philippe VI, the Belfry, the Canal du Midi Museum and the Wood Museum, which celebrate local heritage and crafts. Lake Saint-Ferréol will be perfect for outdoor activities.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

La Chaumière

In the heart of the Lauragais, in the middle of the sunflower fields and away from the village, in an unspoiled and serene setting, come and explore a real haven of peace. This charming old building, recently renovated, promises you an unforgettable moment of cocooning. You will stay in the 30 m² cottage that is on our property away from our house, surrounded by cats, horses and chickens. Privacy is preserved with our separate outdoor spaces.

A delightful self-contained cottage. The gite is set in six acres of beautiful garden and private woodland and boasts a year-round diversity of flowering shrubs and trees rich in birdsong. British owners Peter and Tom welcome groups of up to six people. There is also potential to accommodate an additional two guests (plus child) in an adjoining room with private bathroom. Studio equipped with 24 m2, quiet. Located on the 1st floor, you will enjoy a terrace to share with a neighboring tenant. In the city center of Revel, you can browse one of the most beautiful markets on Saturday mornings. Close to many tourist sites: city of Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, Abbaye Ecole... You can also discover the Black Mountain with its lakes and beautiful hikes. Or simply rest with Wi-Fi access, TV and a small kitchen.

Quietly located, this two bedroom apartment is very easy to access will seduce you for your hikes and walks around Lake St Férreol, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. No smoking, but an outside space is available. Pets not allowed, Thank you for understanding. Our accommodation is equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, as well as a kettle and toaster. However as an ex-restaurateur the owner can provide breakfast, lunches/picnics and dinners on order. Nestled in the Haut Languedoc Park between the Southern town of Castres (40 minutes) and world heritage site of Albi (50 minutes).
