Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Garrett County

We had a great time at Olivia’s place this weekend. She was very descriptive and friendly. The home is spacious and located near very private golf course and tennis courts which our party used every day. Close to deep creek amenities. Only issue we had was the grill had a massive birds nest (NOT the fault of the hosts) so we didn’t get to grill, but Olivia’s husband called me personally to troubleshoot solutions. Nice place, had everything we needed, definitely would return.

What a treat! The lake house was so spacious, clean, and well appointed. The three floors allowed for lots of together, small group, and alone time options. Our family - three generations including teens and an octogenarian - had a great time cooking together, playing billiards, soaking in the hot tub, playing air hockey, watching movies, and seeing wildlife. Our hosts had great recommendations for restaurants and boat rentals. Wonderful memories were made, and we highly recommend! Thanks for your gracious hospitality, Idalia and Dennys.

This has been my 4th or 5th stay at one of Mikes cabins on the savage and it’s always a pleasure. The area is just downright beautiful, and the property is everything you can ask for. Mike and the guys at the fly shop are always very helpful with anything ya need.

Lovely home exactly like the photos! Very quiet country location, off the beaten path. The house had everything we needed for quiet family time together, away from crowds but within a few minute drive to parks, restaurants, attractions and shopping. Internet and cell phone access was often painfully slow, which I understand is typical in the mountains. The weather also impacted our satellite tv reception at times, but there were plenty of movies on dvd and games available. The kitchen was stocked with all items we needed, although there was no toaster or toaster oven, there were two coffee makers and plenty of dishes and cookware. Linens and towels were clean and fresh. The house was spotless. We appreciated the stand alone a/c unit too! Overall, great visit and many thanks to our hosts!

Great space for a relaxing getaway, complete with rustic charm! It's a very clean, cute, cozy, and worthwhile place to stay and spend time with family. I had a wonderful time in this lake house.

This place was the perfect weekend get away! The place was very clean, homey, and the beds were actually super comfy!! The house had everything you could need and more, the only disappointing thing was that the gas was out so we were not able to use the fire table. Paul was a great host and even made sure check in went okay and that we were enjoying our time in the area. After booking we requested to stay an additional day and Paul was very accommodating for us and added the day with a late check out time. We hope to stay here again soon!

Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed reading about the family history of the home, loved the decks, chairs by the fire pit, hanging out on the dock, fishing and watching the ducks, chipmunks and deer. Enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. My 95 year old dad came with us and the home was very accessible and he didn’t have any problems navigating the terrain with an escort. Hope we can come back again!

Diane was very helpful, sent communications before I needed them. Home was clean and very organized with labels to help you get accustomed. Highly recommend her place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. it's doggo friendly and our pup really liked the place as soon as he walked in. He's been a lot of places with us so it makes a difference. The site is near enough to Deep Creek Lake that driving is no problem. The place is super clean and has the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Seriously wanted to take it home with us. The host is wonderful and provides plenty of useful communication. They live on site, which was not a disadvantage. They are as available or not, depending on your preference. Nicole is an incredible baker and if you are lucky, she may share some of her baked goods with you. definitely worth staying here!!

Besides bad weather, had a nice time at Patrick's place! I went solo but plenty of space for a bunch of people to sleep and enjoy. will have to come back to ride more of the GAP!

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

We had a fabulous week at the mad men house. There were plenty of places to get some personal quiet time and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. Stay here again if we return to deep Creek Lake.

The cabin was beautiful! Small & cozy, perfect for a weekend away. The location was easy to find & check in was seamless. The cabin & hot tub were both extremely clean. Has everything you’d need for a long weekend. The host was friendly & proactive with check in & check out instructions. Would definitely stay again!

We were looking for a quiet place to stay just to unwind. This place was inviting the moment you walked into the house. The front room with hanging chairs and lots of windows was one of my favorite rooms! We could sit and listen to the wind blow through the trees, watch the clouds pass by and listen to the peaceful rainfall. The king-size bed was SO comfortable and just outside the bedroom was the hot tub, ready to go! It was perfect for a relaxing get-away! Thanks Wanda!

Emily was a wonderful host and WOW… I was planning to fly fish on a handful of the Gold Star rivers/creeks nearby BUT i spent my 3 days (ALL DAY) fly fishing on the heavenly Casselman River stretch adjacent to the property up stream to the Rt 68 bridge. There simply wasn’t any reason to leave the Grantsville enclave around the house. It woulda been nice if Cornucopia had been open but the kitchen and gas grill allowed for steak and eggs in the mornings and I just don’t want to leave. I spend so much time wading that peaceful soothing stretch of the river that I was sore and was a little sluggish on checkout day. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was VERY comfortable and I’ll be returning. YES I caught PLENTY of rainbow trout and a few little Brookies. Hesitant to write that because I’d rather this be a secret haha. 5.00 all the way !! Thanks Emily.

Joe's cabin was the absolute best! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The cabin is beautifully maintained, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The location was serene—tucked away in nature yet conveniently close to everything we needed. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and fire pit! Joe was a fantastic host, responsive, kind, and full of great recommendations. It’s clear he takes great pride in making sure his guests have the best experience possible. If you're looking for the perfect getaway, look no further than Joe’s cabin. We’ll definitely be returning for another stay soon!

Abrams Creek is a great place for a quiet, private, beautiful rustic cabin camping experience. The grounds were fantastic, from the moment you pass the check-in you are immediately in the woods. At the cabin itself you feel like you are alone in the woods next to a peaceful stream. The cabin was comfortable and plenty warm with the propane heating, and having a dedicated port-a-potty right next to our site made bio-breaks much more convenient than if you had to walk to a central bathhouse. Highly recommend Abrams Creek!

We just had our 3rd stay at Analog Cabin and have only made a small dent in their spectacular record collection, so we will continue to return again and again. Analog is the perfect place to get away and unplug for a few days. It's clean, quaint and super quirky. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The hot tub and sauna are a great bonus! Tons of books, games and puzzles! The artwork around the place, both inside and out, is a nice touch. It's easy to be inspired here. Strongly recommend! Thank you David for another great weekend!
