Fantastic! My friends and I would definitely stay again. It comfortably fit a large group for a wedding nearby. Aside from the downstairs toilet that did give us some issues, the place was pristine, peaceful, and a great jumping off point for the Bourbon trail and other activities. Anessa was quick to respond and fix the issue with the toilet promptly. This was a great place and we would definitely return.

Anessa’s place was fantastic. Her kitchen had everything needed for multiple nights of cooking. The area was amazing and the lake was fantastic. We truly enjoyed the space and would love to stay again in the future. The little touches were great. Truly a gem to find.

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Anessa was incredibly kind and responsive from the moment we booked. The views are breathtaking - especially from the downstairs bedroom. The home was fully stocked with everything we could need, from kitchen tools to thoughtful extras like makeup wipes, Tylenol, and cozy blankets. We had 6 women on a girls’ trip, including my 83 y/o grandma, and the layout was perfect for her with just 2 steps to get inside and everything she needed on the main level. I also highly recommend booking a ride on Anessa’s tritoon! It was the highlight of our trip! She made it so fun with tubing, floating on a lily pad, and great music. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again Anessa!

We had a fantastic stay at Blue Moon Cottage! The home was exactly as described, and the photos were true to what we experienced. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, private location with beautiful views and a well-maintained property—perfect for a quiet getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the pet-friendly aspect made it even better for us. The host was proactive, responsive, and very kind, which made everything smooth and stress-free. We even decided to extend our stay, and they accommodated us with no hassle at all. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the Danville area, and we definitely plan to return in the future!

This place is a slice of heaven! Peaceful, quiet, private, and surrounded by nature. We sat on the porch and watched deer morning and night. We watched the sun set and the full moon rise from the fire pit. We enjoyed the land and long peaceful walks and conversations. Bring a few days’ groceries with you and you won’t want to leave!

We loved the place and Anessa was a great host. Very easy to reach out to if we needed anything and the house was great. Only thing that I noticed is that the house said it sleeps 10 and that would be multiple people bunking up in rooms with 2 beds so could get a bit crowded. We had 7 so it worked out for us. Ultimately we loved the place and host was amazing! Would highly recommend

My family and I enjoyed our stay! We were very surprised how big the space was! The house had everything you needed- bug spray, coffee machine, clean towels, pool table, family games, wine glasses and so much more! I look forward to coming here in the future 🙂🙂

This was an amazing place to stay. Everything was thought out and executed to a T. The house was very livable with many upgraded amenities. I would, without hesitation recommend to friends and family. Wayne was responsive and quickly addressed all questions. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in!

My Old Kentucky Home hosted by Shane was a wonderful place to stay! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The amenities on site were amazing. The hot tub and pool were all set and ready for our group when we arrived, which we appreciated greatly. Communication was great, and Shane was on top of everything. Our stay was wonderful and we would love to come back for another visit! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Lexington area.

We stayed here for a weekend in Lexington for a music festival. Very walkable which was so helpful. The place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It is in the city so there were some siren/motorcycle noises - bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Would highly recommend this stay to be close to the Red Mile.

Beautiful home and property! It was perfect for our annual girl's weekend! The weather kept us inside more than we had hoped, but we did get a couple of sunny hours to enjoy the pool. Even when the rain kept us indoors, there was plenty of room to just relax and enjoy each other's company. There were plenty of windows to keep us connected to the outdoors and the view was perfect from every direction. Rolling green pastures speckled with horses! Very private! Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend staying here y’all! It was SO peaceful & private. The farm house was charming & plenty of space for a set of 4 adults. The property is spacious & lots to explore. The trail system on the land gave us a Sunday morning time to hike before traveling. We loved that our dog was welcome & she loved exploring. One night was not enough & we cannot wait to come back when the pool is open. Thanks SO much from WV 💚

Excellent home, great location and amenities! The home is very clean, close to grocery and a good amount of distilleries. Rich is very responsive but also gives a good amount of info upfront, so not alot of need to ask for anything. Highly recommend!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. We had a group of seven and dogs. There was plenty of room and the large beds throughout were perfect for a group of adults. The creek in the back was so pretty. Our dogs played in it every day. The park behind the house was a nice plus and an easy walk to go play some pickleball/tennis. Since we as renters depend on reviews and everyone has different standards, I will mention a couple of things that could be improved on. I still left 5 stars because for us it didn’t affect our great time. The outdoor cushions need a good cleaning or replacement as they are badly stained. It was obvious that the back deck had not been blown off in a while. A better lawn service company is probably all that’s needed. All in all it is a great place to stay with a large group. Seth was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly. Someone even secretly came to take the garbage bins to the road and put them back. LOL Nice touch.

I must say that I was extremely impressed with the accommodations. Everything was exactly as listed. The home was spacious and felt like home. It made the weekend even more special. Great house for my friends and I. Fishing was a blast. House was very clean and a great space to hangout for the weekend. Kayaks and pool table were frequently used. Plenty of space for 10 guests and the kitchen was incredible. Definitely want to visit again!

Country charm was great. This house is very nice and in a super private area. The hosts are super responsive and helpful through the whole process. The extra snacks and basketball hoop were a nice added touch. Highly recommend!

A wonderful river house! Right on the water with plenty of towels and a very comfortable bed. Very clean. Host is friendly and responsive. Super cool historical bridge, watching the trains go by was awesome! The porch, dock or swing are perfect places to watch the river go by. Easy 40 minute drive from Rupp Arena.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was unique in that it offers a main house and a guest house, and it turned out that this was the perfect arrangement for us (2 moms who are close friends, and our two sons, who are also close friends). When we weren't out and about, we all hung out in the A-frame main house. At bedtime, we parted ways.The A-frame has everything you might need during your stay. Then you also have the boathouse, which is beyond cute and very cozy. Both structures overlook the lake, and the outdoor deck spaces are very comfortable and inviting. I especially appreciated the propane fire pit one evening when it got a little chilly. Also, having a Keurig and pods in each house was awesome! Shelly sent detailed directions in advance of our travels, which was very helpful, and she made some local recommendations re: food and groceries. We followed up on those, and were not disappointed! She was also very responsive to us when we asked for assistance or recommendations. <3

This place is more breathtaking then the photos! We had doordashed some stuff to the place and even the doordasher was breath taken by the place. I would recommend anyone coming through to stay here. We were sad we were just stopping through and not making it a weekend stay.

The cottage is charming, cozy and clean. Beautiful view of the river from the porch. Loved the extra touch of the smiley face on the blankets! Nicole’s communication is excellent and timely. The scenery to get to the cottage is very pretty. The location is great, close to downtown Danville which is such a nice place to visit. The cottage is a peaceful place to stay. ❤️
